New Kisaragi Gunma

Is anybody else hyped for "A Straight Line to Love"? I've read the scanlated version, but the translation quality is iffy and the censorship is very intrusive. In my opinion, few artists can draw women that look straight up beautiful like Gunma can!

I'm anxious to know when it will finally arrive, since it was announced some time ago.

Hmmmmm I used to love Gunma's style but I think my tastes have changed. The art is cool but I just don't read it anymore. What else do you like about Gunma?

I have to say, I quite like his art and he always does excellent work on the sex, but his stories make my vanilla heart want to relax with some NTR instead.

Gunma rarely writes about adults and other more serious situations. He mainly focuses on a high school/college demographic, and this pleases me. I enjoy teen hentai, yet don't care much for loli.

Also worth mentioning is the ridiculous scenarios he sets up for his stories. Hell, the book I mentioned (A Straight Line to Love) is about a boy and the girl he's crushing on attempting to join a club where you have sex and get graded on how visually appealing you are. It even has goddamn national events and famous contenders. How ridiculous, yet humorous and interesting!

His art is what really brings everything home though. He might not be writing your fetishes, and not even mine. But he draws his women to be absolutely gorgeous. Something about the way he draws them just make them seem very well proportioned and sexy as hell. His depiction of genitalia are also very well done and rarely seem awkward.

I feel weird for rambling on like that, but besides Bosshi's futa, Kisaragi Gunma makes the best stuff around for me. (Yamatogawa gets bronze medal)

Gunma suffers from severe sameface, however he puts some nice efforts on details.

I'm personally really excited for this book, I've been a fan of Gunma for a long time. Hopefully one day we'll be able to go back and release his older books as well.

Especially Love Selection, i know it was released by Eros comix but seeing it re-released here would look so much nicer.

Gunma does highschool stories/art very well.

I've seen most of Gunma's works around the web fully decensored, and I believe "Giri Giri Sisters" and "Mai Favorite" were fully colored. How does this come about?

Pirated scanalations and translations. The only official Gunma releases are Tokoharu Appartments from here and the discontinued print of Love Selection by Eros Comix, though quality is nowhere near as good as what Fakku has released, colored pages are printed on normal paper and covers have no sleeve.

Well, my main point was that they were decensored. I wouldn't have found it weird in the least to see them scanlated, but they were fully decensored and that confused me.

The scanlators just drew over the censorship, it should be pretty noticeable if you zoom in.

Decensored isn't the same as uncensored.
I've seen a lot of awful decensoring.

Gunma has a knack for making slim girls look meaty. When a guy's hand is gripping onto a girls' hip or breasts you can sense the meaty-ness of her body.

I really enjoy when he draws adult women. My favorite chapters from Love Selection are the ones with the in-house caretaker.

Gunma's art is gorgeous. The non-flat chest girls have awesome tits and even with clothes on his girls give me instant boners. I'm really looking forward to his new book, and I've said this before, but hopefully his other books get published at some point.

I'm also on board this hype train.

Gunma seems to be one of those ero-mangaka who are just as brilliant as they're perverted, and he's made some of my all-time favourites.

However, when I look at the previews for Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments on Wanimagazine's website I see some colour posters that weren't included in the book, how come?

I might be wrong but it could be special content given with the product depending on the marketplace, some books have like a small chapter added only available by buying the book in a specific website.

They're site exclusive bonuses to get people to buy from certain companies.
Renai sample had one with Melonbooks where there was a short 4 or 5 page afterword chapter for one of the stories. If Fakku wants those chapters/content they would have to negotiate with those companies.

They (Eros Comix) also cut out a loli chapter towards the end. Not a fan of loli, but I'm less a fan of publishers editing content.

Anyway, I think the first hentai release I ever read was from Gunma way back in the day - might've been "Giri Giri Sisters." Yeah, all of his girls basically have the same face (and the same 3-4 hairstyles), but I just love his art style.

Like others have already said, they all have a nice meaty-ness to them, and he's great at drawing genitalia - smooth as a china doll! (to quote a certain movie) Also, I have a real weakness for doggiestyle, which Gunma excels as drawing... in fact, I'm pretty sure it's his favorite position.

I'm really looking forward to "A Straight Line to Love," although it's not my favorite Gunma release. I'll admit, I've always found his stories to be weak, although the scenarios are great, but I think this is his weakest work. Plus, I wanted to see more of their ditzy teacher participating... (I'm aware of the final chapter, but still, moar!)

I'd love to see a Fakku release of his early works... Giri Giri Sisters, Sweet Hearts, Mai Favorite... *droool*
