The page freeze up when I use the settings option. It's half off the screen and it takes two back clicks to unfreeze, then takes you back two too three pages. Just thought it would help. Phone:Galaxy 5 Active.

Smooth Scrolling:
This feature I do NOT Like. I personally read very fast, and occasionally do not take a long time on a page, not long enough to facilitate a Smooth Scroll. Possibly allow to turn off, rather than just a Fast Scroll.
Favourite Button:
The in page Favourite button was great. I could easily Favourite my favoured content easily, without having to navigate to the main page, and click add, and then Favourites. This was a PLUS.
Navigation buttons:
I love the Thumbnails Option, but having the Page Number and Selection along the bottom was a PLUS
As a General Update, I think it's great, but some fantastic stuff which made for ease and accessibility was removed which is unfortunate.
Everything I have not commented on, you can assume I either like it, or have not used it enough to make an informed comment.
Hell, this might all be wrong too.

meh...
Maybe someone said this already, I wish there was an option to just start from first page instead of starting at thumbnail list. I don't understand why there needs to be an extra step to start reading.

Oh ic, thank you.
I guess I always clicked on "read online" button.
By the way, loving the 2 page view.
Lastly, maybe unrelated to the reader beta test, but I think it would be neat if there is a feature to combine multiple chapters into one continuous viewing, like a collection I make becomes one book.

I seemed to have found two small issues concerning fullscreen functionality. First, if I enter fullscreen via the F11 button in Chrome, I can't exit via the "Exit Fullscreen" button in the reader. And secondly, if I enter fullscreen via F11 in Firefox, the "Enter Fullscreen" button in the reader still remains there. Both tests were made using a 2013 Toshiba laptop running on Windows 10.

Okay so I don't really post on this website. I just enjoy being a lurker.
But for what I came here for, the beta does not work on an iPhone browser. So I just had to turn off the beta for now. This probably was already mentioned, but I thought just to throw it out there.
Oh yeah, thanks guys for all you do on this website. It really has become my favorite.

It's time for another update! This one focuses on mobile devices and iOS - the reader should work properly in Mobile Safari Private Mode now (and in regular mode too if you were having issues). We've also added a "pseudo-fullscreen" mode that allows you to hide / minimize the browser address bar (as iOS does not unfortunately support proper fullscreening).
For touch devices in general, the reader now supports page changing via swiping!

Having issues viewing some stories in the new reader. Seems like it's not loading anything. The tabs they are on also say Read Title by Author in English.

https://www.fakku.net/manga/girl-next-door-english/read/page/1
I'm using internet explorer, and I only noticed issues with these two so far.

Images is still slow in loading most of the time the whole manga is blured. My internet speed is fine. I compared it to the current reader and the image loading is definitely faster in the current reader.

I'm working on improving it to hopefully eliminate this.

The beta reader is now live for everyone! If you are a new reader having problems with the subscription reader post in this thread.
We will continue posting updates specifically to beta users while we test out fixes and improvements.

Prefetching in Firefox is not working properly, I hope you can fix that because is the only thing that is still broken, and getting blurry pages is a boner killer... literally.

Well I can't read subscription content on my tablet anymore "Dell Venue Pro win 8.1" every time I try to scroll the page down it registers my touch as a page advance on the new reader, and only an advance page command. I'm using the metro IE browser because it is simple and only displays the webpage on screen and not everything else. The old reader work fine I just couldn't turn pages without using the toolbar.
EDIT: IE version I'm using on my tablet is 11.0.9600.18053 and I'm using Metro/Modern UI.
EDIT 2: It seems that even using desktop IE browser on a windows tablet doesn't work correctly, I keep getting the same issue as above. I will look into other browsers to see if IE is the issue.
EDIT 3: Doesn't work on windows tablet using latest version of Firefox. Same issue as above.

New reader is nice indeed, but it no longer has the options for scaling to width percentage, and I normally used 50% with the old reader. The set height option can be used to get a similar result, but is not quite the same.

This time the setting has been exposed as a raw number - if you want to emulate the old behavior you were used to you can use still use Set Height with a size of 960 (half of 1920, the default online reader image height).

That works as well, thanks. It would be nice if this number were one of the standard choices as well, though, it's easy not to notice that the number can be entered manually as well.
