Retiring the FAKKU Books Founder Achievement

On September 10th, 2015 we will be retiring the FAKKU Books Founder achievement. Meaning September 10th is your last chance to receive the achievement if you don't already have it. For the past year the achievement has been given to users that have purchased one of our books. The achievement was a way to show that you supported us during our transition into a legitimate publisher. September 10th will mark one year from when we started giving out the achievement, making it the perfect time to retire it.The Job of a Service Committee Member will be the last book eligible to receive the FAKKU Books Founder achievement. Going forward we will replace the founder achievement with a more general supporter achievement. In addition to the new achievement we will be publishing the second edition of Renai Sample. It will include dialogue/grammar updates and a lot of improvements based on things we learned over the past year. If you own the digital edition of the book, you will automatically receive the updated version when it is released.

I'd just like to say I bought the digital book TiTiKEi and haven't gotten the achievement, I don't know if you need to by the physical copy to get it, but just wanted to point it out.

Hmm... Other achievements have usually been granted upon login, although I'm not sure about this one, you could try logging out and then logging in again?

It's specifically an achievement for buying a book (during our first year), so you would need to do that in order to receive it.

It seems like you've received it now, but in case anyone else is wondering: both digital and physical copies count as long as you buy them through FAKKU.

Cant believe that it has already been a year!

Gratz to everyone on the Fakku team. I look forward to many more years to come (Pun intended.).

Does the achievement still apply if I bought a hard copy book at anime conventions such as AX or ALA.

And the achievement has been officially retired! The FAKKU Supporter achievement has been added to replace it, all previous FAKKU Books Founders will receive the new achievement over the next few days.
