[Shintaro Kago] Super Dimensional Love Gun

Jumping from hentai to Shintaro Kago is quite the leap, I must say.
Not sure this will be the most popular of books, but I'll certainly get a copy myself, can't say no to Kago.

What is this exactly?

No clue about this volume in particular, but Shintaro Kago is an author known for his mindfuckery, mostly with short stories.
If you check his works, you may find he is catalogued as an Ero-Guro author, although this isn't the totality of his work.
His works may be mindfuck but not entirely senseless. Some of his works have him playing with the rules of comics, or playing with a concept, others have political meanings.

Out of doubt, I always classify him as a horror author, if only for the body horror he tends to portray.

I thought that was one of the few no-no's of Fakku, maybe the FAQ is out of date...

The list changed about 2 years ago the only taboos now are toddlercon and scat.

Shintaro Kago's works are closer to Suehiro Maruo's work than Uziga Waita's. There's sex, there's guro, but it's not porn for the most part. I have yet to read Koi no Choujikuuhou.

As for scat... Heeeeeeh... Shintaro Kago has made his fair share of stories with poop. Although it's something rather uncommon in his stories.

This book looks rather clean on the poop stuff, but the guro parts looks like they are here, even if largely undertoned compared to his other works.

This should be saved for a special Halloween release.

I'm morbidly curious about this book. I feel like it'd just be interesting to read and cool to own. Still deciding.

Haven't been to Fakku for a few years while and Shintaro Kago art is the first thing I see when I clicked Store.
Surprise of the year so far for me.

I was naive...I don't think I was 100% ready for this book.

Uughh, curiosity is off the charts. I'll make my decision after PAX.

lol. Took the plunge just now though. Time to see what I got myself into.

Edit: Not too bad, actually. Kind of like a slightly more hardcore Junji Ito with some ero. I'm enjoying the stories though and can't wait for the next ones.
