So.. How do you hide your Fakku books?
7
I'm living in a 2 room apartment, where I'm currently hiding my books in a box at the bottom of my wardrobe. I have about 35+ Fakku books and it's growing in numbers, so I might soon need a better place to store them. As for me, putting these books proudly on a bookshelf is not an option for me, as I'm not that confident, nor is it appropriate whenever I get visited, mainly because I'm an uncle.
I have been lurking for a smart solution to hide my books, so my idea with this topic is to share ideas with fellow Fakku:ers (is that a thing?).

I have them on the shelves with the other comics. My trick is not to put all hentai together but to have it mixed with other genres. But I have to admit that I suffer every time someone approaches those shelves.

My friends are also perverts, so I don't try to hide them from them. Mine are all on the top shelf of my office bookshelf with some stuff in front of them, so kids can't see the boobas on the spines if they happen to look up there. My friends know they are there, but they don't care, or might ask to read them.

How about in a file cabinet. Keeps the dust off of them too. They get heavy so you need a good quality cabinet so the drawers won't warp or twist. Legal drawers are nice because you can line them up down each side and see the spines from the gap down the center. To hide them a little, you can put boring stuff in file folders in the front 10"-12" of the drawer which also transfers the weight balance toward the back of the drawer. You can use the follower as a separator as well to keep the books from falling over.

I'm lucky enough to have a room with high shelves, so you would need an actual step ladder to reach and even see them

Wow, I would go broke with that collection. Then again, my book collection is certainly good sized and wasn't cheap.

If you have the room, I would recommend a night stand or cabinet that has a closed door space.

I used to display my hentai, but sort of burned-out a couple years ago and ended up going digital only, so now all my physical stuff is in a box. That's a shame b/c Fakku's releases put every English manga publisher to shame in terms of quality, and if they ever got into the over-sized hardcover market I'd seriously need to re-evaluate my digital-only policy. ;)
On a related question, how would you all categorize stuff like Velvet Kiss by Chihiro Harumi? Is it softcore hentai or erotic manga?

They're in a storage container with the rest of my manga, my house is full of adults so no one really cares.

I don't bother hiding the fact I like porn and hentai. I'm in my 40s now; I learned trying to hide such interests is just pointlessly adding stress upon yourself.

I have a similar task I try to solve my favorite manga with tags I enjoy and the artist associate with the tank. I have them in a fireproof case or box

Ikea bookshelves (billy) have doors available that fit in over the front. I drilled a hole in the handles that I can padlock when kids come over.
I would vote software hentai, given the amount of sex and nudity. I keep mine with my Fakku books.
