Nothing concrete as of right now, but we'll resume doujinshi releases in a few weeks, and FR13 should be part of that first batch in February/March.

Hey, any word on FR13 and future chapters? Another question myself and a few fans are wondering is once you reach parity with the most current chapter, would the 0.5 chapters be on the table for translation? Many thanks as always for covering this series officially.

Yeah, about that...

We just announced the next release date for Foxy Rena Vol.14: May 28th. However, we found ourselves in a bit of a dilemma after wrapping up the latest volume. So far, the in-between .5 chapters have been mostly optional reading, which is why we've focused on the mainline series. But as I was about to start work on the script for Vol.15, I quickly realized that there are story events that will comes as a complete surprise to the reader unless they've read 14.5 first.

So with that being the case, now seems as good a time as any to catch up on the three in-between volumes. This means that the upcoming release schedule for the series will look as follows: Vol.14, 4.5, 9.5, 14.5, 15. After Vol.15, we plan on releasing any new .5 chapter as they come out.

For the uninitiated, these volumes consists of 4-koma gag strips, character sheets, world building, and some regular manga/story content. While they are borderline work safe, they do add to the lore and helps flesh out all the characters, so I highly recommend them to any fan of the series. I know I had a lot of fun working on them, and I feel I have a better appreciation of the Foxy Rena Universe after doing so. You can see a sample of the content below.

Finally, due to the nonstandard content, these will all be released at a discounted price—especially the first one due to its short length (~18 pages).

Awesome, thanks for the heads up and release schedule! Looking forward to seeing an official translation of all the lore in those .5 chapters. They're a nice combination of lore, lewd and fun day to day stuff.

Will we be seeing 11.5 as well?

Quick question, since the definitive version of FR14.5 just came out with a new 4koma set of pages to supplement the Orca x Manami story, will those also be translated in the next release? Many thanks as always.

Yes! We just received the updated files, so our version will include the roughly 14 additional pages that were added in this year's re-release.

Happy New Year! Just the irregular query about the status for the next three chapters? And since we're approaching parity with the latest chapter, I was wondering if the other non main FR Universe doujins might be translated somewhere in the future. All the best this year~

Sorry for the late reply. Lots of catching up to do after our end-of-year break, and I somehow missed this.


Nothin to announce at the moment. Our focus is still the main series for now, but at the current rate, we should catch up by the end of summer. By that time, a new volume could very well be around the corner, so realistically, any spinoff doujinshi would be up for consideration at the end of the year at its earliest.

Any new info regarding a possible late summer release of the series next installment in English

Feels like they are on the backburner abit.
I can buy the jpn physical releases like years ahead of FAKKU tl schedules, so it gives reasons for wonder.

With the release of volume 18 a month ago, we are now caught up with the most current part of the series. Right now we're waiting for FR19 to be announced/published.

Does that mean that the school compilation series or this issue here called Oku-ken (https://alice-books.com/item/show/647-21) isn't up for consideration in the future?

They're not in the plans currently.
