Valentines Day Sale

I missed out on last year's Valentine's Day sale and made sure to hit it up this year. I intended on buying only a couple but I ended up buying all 7 of the 8 I didn't own. Perhaps I got a little carried away haha. I've probably read all of the chapters in some format or other but it's nice to have an actual print copy. Besides, I want to support Fakku when I can.

The sale honestly feels like a steal. Jacob, are you at least breaking even on these sales? :D

Majority of it has already been release so at this point too much inventory is a hindrance. Plus digital only people pay most of the cost since it take only a little extra work to convert from the printing files to zipped pngs.

Unfortunately for me I already have 7 out of the 8 books on sale, but 50% off is a good deal anyway and I purchased Bashful Break by Homunculus. Thanks FAKKU, and thanks Jacob.

I'm glad I checked again Picked up 3 physical bundles and the digital to one that I'd picked up during the rightstuf sale hoping to snag the rest that I've fallen behind on.

Didn't have three of the books, got one digital as a gift (will someday have to get the physical as well, though, definitely worth it), bought the other two now. ^_^



I'm not too worried about this one. Now that time when he offered free shipping to Europe, that was definitely at loss for Fakku, seeing how I pay more for shipping than for the books...

i got digital versions of the ones i was missing this time. i would like to get some physical copies at some point but the postage is just too high for me.

also import duty - never know when those bastards at the post office will charge for items, sometimes i get away with it other times i don't.

Usually it depends on the total cost of the items. It's free until a certain threshold, taxed if it goes over that.

You would think that but i have been charged for items from rightstuf which are below the threshold. if i order from amazon US on the other hand i practically never get charged. UK customs are odd and extremely inconsistent

Funny enough I had the same idea but realized that for me it would actually be still pricier than free international shipment. I got to pay 22 bucks for the shipping of one book and nothing for the upgrade in comparison to 10 bucks for the upgrade and nothing for the shipping. So im waiting for free shipment. Maybe till next Black Friday. But it's worth it...

Yeah for single book that wouldn't help you much but with 13 books waiting like mine these sales are pretty much jackpot.

Well, I tested it for eight books and you are right. Eight books would cost me 70,49 $ if I went for upgrade with shipping and 80,00$ if I went for upgrade with free shipping.
Could you tell me if you actually got the refund? You woke my curiosity...

Unfortunately I overslept sale's end lol.
Probably wouldn't make it anyway as real life already costed me few thou$ands this month. =/ Oh well maybe next time.

Now we gotta focus on that announced Chocola and Vanilla figurines from Native. :) (Hopefully Fakku gets them too @Jacob *hint hint*)

I pay around $15 shipping for each book when I order them in bulk.
Might have been around the same as yours if I didn't miss the sale... So sad. Gotta make it a habit to check here everyday lol

I've been wondering how much they might have lost during that free shipping promo...

Typical markup on the retail price is three times cost. So if a book cost 20/3=6.67 and if the avg overseas shipping is 22 a book. Depends on the shipping amount and if it can fit a flat rate box or not. There no making a dime anyways.
