It was just that, looking through this thread I got the feeling that this might be the start of yet another internet-stigma. Sort of like: those Gold Members think they're better than everyone else therefore I hate FAKKU Gold. From what I understand that's what happened with Apple Inc and Toyota Prius. People got fed up with the fanboys so they began hating the whole thing, even though they are beneficial and ground-breaking inventions.

What is this 'free content' you speak of? As far as I know, it's all going to get purged except for some samples.
At any rate, there have been better free sites with better tagging, favoriting, downloading, and viewing systems with more content for a long time. Fakku has been decent, but I'd be hard pressed to think of a single area in which it truly excelled. Community, maybe.
