What did Fakku announce at AX?
0
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
I can not find what Fakku has announced at AX anywhere. No news on ANN, Youtube, or even here on Fakku. Can anyone let me know what Fakku announced at AX?

I believe there is a YouTube video in the makings for the big announcement panel. Once everyone has recuperated and are back in the office, I'm sure there will be an announcement here as well.

Yeah I was disappointed that there wasn't any kind of announcement. That was the one I was most looking forward too, especially since it's been pretty quiet here lately.

Yeah, the only thing I saw was that a user posted on here and on the Fakku twitter that Fakku will be publishing all of Toshio Maeda's works. Since Fakku hasn't said anything there is no way to know whether that is true or not, or if it is only the ones published by Wani in Japan.

We'll be making some big posts sharing everything we announced soon (probably next week). We've just been so busy it's been hard to sit down and write them up. But one of the things we did announce was skateboards! All artwork will be completely original and straight from the artists. We debuted designs by Henreader, Bosshi, Omocat, and Toshio Maeda.

Those look nice but I honestly have no idea what I'd do with a decorative skateboard. They seem less practical than posters too.

I thought so too, but how do you mount it? I guess in some ways they can be better given the narrow dimensions, since you might squeeze one into a smaller space where a poster might not fit.

For anyone too eager to wait for an official announcement, TouhouSniper98 has taken the opportunity to upload a recording of the AX panel.

I'm pretty sure 3D posters are called "figures"

There are skateboard wall mounts you can buy on sites such as Amazon for around $10 a piece, which is what they used at AX for their display. Granted, it'll be more costly than just hanging up a poster but there's also the uniqueness factor that the decorative skateboards can bring.

Those boards do not appear to be just for show I am certain you could (if you wanted) get a few more parts and make them usable the thickness is right no idea who makes them or how quality they are. Although the legality of riding them seems on the fence the FAKKU one sure the others hahaha do not chance it...
