Bitcoins?

could this be useful for the site? i don't have that good of an understanding about them, but considering how fats they are catching on it would seem to be a wise move. i checked the price 1 Bitcoin = $124.999(roughly), and i am guessing you can send less than 1 or only allow them to be used after that point has been reached.

And, what kind of benefits will this 'bitcoins' would bring to fakku?that they would be the sellers, and if there where enough users who used them, or if they wanted to advertise through the sites people use to get them. i'm not saying that this is a flawless idea but it would seem to make since if there where enough users, and with the exchange rates being high they could use it as another means of funding.

i have a basic understanding, do you know how the entirety of the currency market works? do you have a full understanding of mathematics in general? if you answered either of those with "no" than i would pose the questions, why do you use money, and why do you still use math? it is an online currency that is a peer to peer, allowing for transactions of real goods, for a currency that can be exchanged into multiple currencies, including USD, Euro, and GBP. this allows it to become a liquid asset along with the ability to be moved from one country to the other with little hassle.

not intending to be rude but from the page you sent me to, "Bitcoin (sign: BTC) is a decentralized digital currency[9][10] based on an open-source,[11] peer-to-peer internet protocol. It was introduced by a pseudonymous developer named Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009.[12]
Bitcoins can be exchanged through a computer or smartphone locally or internationally without an intermediate financial institution.[13] In trade, one bitcoin is subdivided into 100 million smaller units called satoshis, defined by eight decimal points.[4]" .
to clarify what they are and on the mention of a ponzi scheme,
"
Although it is considered a digital currency, virtual currency, or "payment scheme", it is often traded as an investment[59] and accused of being a form of investment fraud known as a Ponzi scheme.[52][60] On this subject, a report by the European Central Bank, using the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's definition of a Ponzi scheme, found that the use of bitcoins shares some characteristics with Ponzi schemes, but also has characteristics of its own which contradict several common aspects of Ponzi schemes.[61]" .
now i'm not trying to push this on anyone, i was just wondering if it could be a possible route for alternative income for the site, be it through advertising bringing more people to the site, or by selling items from the store with the options of paying with the points.

I don't see why we would need Bitcoins, why would we need them here, of all sites?

Most of us here have credit card, or debit card at least, that should be sufficient enough for now.
If we do ended up need Bitcoins, we will use them, but for the time being it does not seem necessary.
