not to be rude, but are you insinuating that because there is a way to get them for free that they are not actual valid currency, and that they shouldn't be valued as worthy of being traded? or are you really just looking for food stamps?

There's no point if you can just pay via Paypal etc. It's as useless as gift cards, just use money.

you can use bitcoins in paypal, by switching them to a currency, and then funneling them into a bank account that you have linked with that account. i was just suggesting that instead of adding that extra step that they might consider allowing someone to use bitcoins to pay.

and what if someone is in between jobs and is earning bitcoins while working, by visiting sites while applying to others, or they don't want to take the time to exchange their coins for money and then transfer it to their account? should they not have the same right as others, i bought velvet kiss with a gift card, should i be looked down upon for not using cash?

I have no idea what that first part means. As for using a gift card, no one is looking down on you, I use them when they're given to me.

and the difference between e-currency and a gift card is? truly i don't care either way, i'm just saying that why close off a different part of a customer base.

e-currency, valued at ~141 USD per 1 coin(1 unit) they are given out at up to 8 decimal places(so it does take a while to get to 1 full unit)

I think for the simple fact that a good majority of users probably don't even know what the crap a bitcoin is (I didn't), it wouldn't be worth the hassle. People would probably just stick with what they already know and what already works.

No, it won't be useful, people are too lazy to learn how that shit works, when they can just pay with their bank card or Pay pal.

you can put bitcoins in the bank as well, you just have to convert them to actual currency, or use them to buy investments, IE silver, gold.
