In terms of ideas, though, it would be nice to be able to hide people's signatures-- some of 'em are really big and I don't wanna look at 'em. Also, being able to use the original reader instead of the new one would be nice. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the new one is bad-- I'd just like to be able to use the old one every now and again.

Also, I think someone mentioned having a "magazines" center in addition to a "books" center. I like that idea.

You can actually already hide signatures in your account settings (I keep them turned off for the same reason).

I'm pretty new here. A while ago, I bought a FAKKU book/digital combo because the art I saw looked great. It was, so then I had to buy all of them. Now I see there's a subscription for monthly magazines, so hey, gotta do that too. I draw a lot, and I'm working on a VN, so it's for reference... yeah... reference. ;)

Overall, I like the site, it's clean and the reader works well in my browser, particularly for the books. I agree with a lot of the ideas others have posted here. For me, the big ones are:

-more organization for magazine subscriptions. Right now, there aren't too many chapters, but later on it'd be really useful to have some sort of month/year links and more sorting capability.

-"night mode" just changing the white for black in the reader would be fine, just to reduce eye strain at night.

-The ability to download chapters from the magazines. Some people want a mobile app, which could work. I usually prefer to use Perfect Viewer on my phone or tablet for reading. It'd also be nice to be able download chapters that you like, instead of needing to find them again to read them.

anyhow, all that whining aside, love the site. The content is clean and looks great. Keep up the good work!

fyi, you can change the background of the reader to be black, grey, or white in the options menu. It's located in the upper right corner of the screen if you move the mouse cursor there.

can we get multidirectional controls on mobile? Maybe they exist and I have not figured it out but sometimes there is that one page with an amazing panel and I have to quickly click to the end to return to the thumbnails and get back to it.

Second thought, full disclosure I would not participate but it would be funny, how about adding web notification support for compatible browsers? Why should I have to miss an upload to a tag I really care about.

Hey, here's a suggestion. I understand why it is it wont let us save the subscription content. Fakku probably feels it would lead to stuff being pirated. Regardless what you think about that, I was wondering if maybe we could be allowed to save the covers of what you guys publish? So far I've seen a number of them and they look really good. I'd love to use them as desktop backgrounds or maybe in my screen saver.


Also, I Read that the artists can get on the site and read what we write (Hi there from America!) and was wondering if maybe we could have a gold member communication forum for talking to them? Like maybe a kind of AMA thing. Or just something where gold members can leave posts meant for certain artists or artists in general? I know I would love to give a pat on the back to any artist that draws dark skin girls or flat chested girls who aren't lolis.

Being able to change usernames would be nice. I'd definitely be interested in download links for magazine chapters and book discounts too.

I"m sure this would be a very petty thing to you Jacob as you keep them turned off, However as my own request I would like to be able to color the text in my sig as well. we can use colored text on the forums, but trying to use it in sigs fails.

I don't know if this has been suggested (or it exists already), but maybe a Reader page jumper? Like how in Fakku Books you can jump to a specific chapter except in the reader you can jump to a specific page (also like how you can do it when reading unlicensed works). Sometimes it's a pain going page after page. Yeah you can edit the URL I guess, but still.

More a question--once unlicensed material vanishes, does that more or less spell the end for doujinshi, here?

We'll be working with the artists directly to bring their doujinshi to FAKKU, the plan is to make it available to subscribers.

Long time lurker here. I'm enjoying the new feature, no ads, and tag following. I can't wait to see the content accumulate.

As far as suggestions go I'd suggest something like an audible subscription tiers.
$10 for gold - As currently made (its a little overpriced)
$16 for platinum - Give platinum members one free digital book credit a month.

Offer additional credit sales $6 once a quarter(maybe limit them to 2 per sale).Offer hard copies of books members already own for $12-14 range

And one other thing that people (me) might like would be the ability to change the orientation of the uploads from vertical to horizontal.

It would be nice to be able to display two pages of content at once, like in simple comic or comic zeal

A suggestion I have is after a magazine is fully released would it be possible to make a larger gallery out of all of the chapters. Reading 1 20 page chapter at a time is tedious on mobile. Thanks for the amazing content Jacob and crew!

Would it be at all possible to make it so the Premium Reader advances a page when you click the right side of the screen or goes pack a page when you click the left side? The current reader is hard to use on a Full Windows Tablet just poking around one handed....
