FAKKU Subscription Suggestions

Could there be a feature where we see sort of a table of contents with each magazine. Similar to how it is with the book releases.

With the books we get a list of all the chapters so we know this book has 12 chapters, and if that book is still being translated we get a countdown clock for the next chapter.

I understand that with magazines the releases are sporadic, so putting a countdown clock on would not be achievable.

But just a table of contents listing all the chapters that are present in that particular magazine issue, would be greatly appreciated.

That way we can see that this particular issue has lets say 23 chapters, and we get a list of all the chapter titles.

I keep saying to myself "oh well Comic X-Eros #30 must be fully translated now", and then bam just this morning I see a new chapter for Comic X-Eros #30.

Both a "recommend/you might also like..." function and a better interface for magazine issues (ToC, jump to next chapter, etc.) are features we plan on adding!

Great I just recently joined FAKKU, but I am liking what I am seeing so far. I look forward to all the new website features to come later this year.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Once you can choose the periods of subscriptions, it would be great to be able to purchase an addition to your subscription which gets you every book released in your subscription period for a discount prize.
For example you purchase an three months period and choose the addition, so you get the next three books for 8$ each instead of 10$.

Might sound a bit weird, but how about a monthly podcast? Jacob and different members of the Fakku crew can talk about what's going on w/ the business - new licenses, upcoming releases, funny/interesting anecdotes, etc. Maybe even guest interviews w/ some of the mangaka featured that month in the mags or book releases?

That would actually be really cool. Of course they'd have to be careful in case there are any NDAs involved in the acquisitions.

Hi I have been using fakku for a long like but i have never really made an account until recently. I really like the idea of supporting the creator of these doujin instead of just reading them for free. However due to the fact that i am living in canada i am being hammered by the strong us dollar and the depreciation of our currency. I can only see the my subscription becoming more expensive each month and i really would like to continue to support fakku. I am really hoping u guys could get the annual subscription thing going soon. PS i notice a lot of user are paypal user and can not subscribe to your service due to not having a credit card. May i suggest that u guys sell annual or 3 months fakku membership card similar to the xbox live membership card and you could even bundle it with a book. That way people using paypal can stay subscribe to fakku. I wish your team the best of luck and hopefully i wont have to cancel my subscription. I really would like to be part of the solution instead of just stealing someones hardwork.

This may have already been proposed.

Subscription periods, if possible, with a discount.
I would, by far, make a one-time payment of, lets say, $100 dollars a year, than be paying 12dlls a month and end up paying $144. Just as an example.

I have bought almost all physical copies of the books fakku has published so far and, well, sometimes I find it difficult to pay for both: subscription and books.

Would be cool to see a Fakku Subscription reward for how long you have been subscribed to fakku. Doesn't have to be an expensive reward could just be an achievement but as you get higher up like 1 year, you get a free month or something like that.

Why do I have to go back the the fakku home page when I am done reading and not return to the chapter main page? I find it kind of annoying because I like the chapter and would like to either add it to my favorites, follow the artist, or both but have to either backtrack a lot or go back through the home page. It wasn't like that before I got the subscription can that be fixed?

Clicking on the title returns you to the chapter main page. Clicking on the artist name brings you to the artist's page.

I get that part. It's when you click the read online. It doesn't give many options like chapter title or artist at the end. It just kinda like leaves you in the viewer mode. I only use it on my phone by the way.

The links I pointed out were in the reader's header after the Fakku logo. I do use a PC, not a phone, though, so it may be different for you.

I can also confirm this. The reader on phones does not show the title or the artist's name, and it only leaves the F! logo to click. It depends also on the size of the screen, as this happens on my Galaxy S5 but not on my iPad, which obviously has a bigger screen. Maybe adding a "Return" icon when the reader does not have space to show the title would help.

Rotating my phone to landscape view brings up the title/author. Might just have to do that for a quick fix.

Is there a reason why one can only have ten collections?

I'm sure someone has probably already brought this up, but could we get it to where when you are reading subscription chapters in the reader that are part of a series it auto-loads the next chapter? So that instead of having to go back out and go to the next chapter, you just keep going until you hit the last/latest chapter.

Just a suggestion:
Now that we are about to get a 3rd magazine can we see a feature to sort all chapters by the magazine label they are a part of.
Something along the lines where I can go to the magazine tab and there will be a "Sort By", tab with a drop down menu with list of options to sort by Magazine Labels:

-All Magazines
-Comic Kairakuten
-Comic X-Eros
-Comic Shitsurakuten
-Comic Kairakuten BEAST (To come shortly...in my dreams)

I was wondering, can you guy set up a physical copy subscription based plan? Like even if it's an entire different subscription I'd be willing to pay it. I personally like physical copies more than digital. Sorry, if I sound obnoxious or anything.
