Issue with NaPaTa doujin "Uninvited"

Trying to read this doujin:

I did not purchase the book, but the comments say that you should be able to read it with subscription as well, and indeed it has the Unlimited! icon when you find it in the list of all NaPaTa works.

There is a button "read with free trial", but clicking it merely redirects to the front page instead.


I don't know if it's intentional that it can't be read with subscription anymore, but if that was the case, it shouldn't have the Unlimited! icon. Either way something is wrong here.

No. Book content is locked to people who didn't pay for the book but if the chapter that came from the magazine is available to subscribers. Which this one outdated our licensing start so it's no available.
The several magazine chapters of the books we published that they kept for subscribers.

However, most of the other entries from the same magazine (Comic Kairakuten 2015-10) are available as part of the subscription - and it's not just a faulty icon either, they work, I doublechecked.

At any rate, if the chapter being unavailabe is intentional then the Fakku Unlimited Icon should be removed.

Maybe this one was the one's they removed the magazines versions and replaced with book rips. As why they still have the unlimited logo maybe borked code.

I would suggest sending a support ticket and wait for a few weeks to figure the actual status. Too many possibilities. Could also be unintentional processing error.

One thing that I particularly noticed is that chapters that are released both in magazines and books need to have different URLs at the system level, such as Silent Girlfriend in Lovely. On the contrary, chapters released only in the books don't have trailing numbers in their URLs. The same URL phenomenon happens for SAVAN and Key's chapters, e.g. here. Presumably, this is a manual process and could totally go wrong.

The Unlimited icon is not supposed to be on there. I've informed the tech team to remove it.

Kind of a shame it's not part of the subscription anymore, but at least it's fixed now. Thanks!
