This is a hot topic here right now, and it shouldn't be ignored any longer. It needs to be addressed and I want to hear your thoughts on this (hence me posting this thread). This isn't about whether the staff thinks it's right or wrong, it's more a matter of... well, law. Wikipedia wrote...On 30 April 2003, President George W. The same FOIA-requested November 2006 United States Attorney's Bulletin describing the details of the conviction, concludes by suggesting that the precedent set by the Whorley case be used as a basis for future prosecutions of possession of such obscene cartoons. It is worth noting that Whorley's charges were coupled with charges for possession of conventional child pornography and that he was on parole at the time making the legal possibility of appealing the charges far less feasible and far less attractive to civil rights groups, such as the ACLU. Neither Whorley's, nor any other conviction under this law has been reviewed by the Supreme Court. In February 2006, Senator John McCain introduced S.519, which would add a mandatory 10-year sentence in jail to anyone who uses the Internet to violate the PROTECT Act. Ive been reading over the many debates here and finally decided to post in this one so boys and girls get ready for somewhat of a wopper!

First of all I would like to tell everyone before this post good job with there recent arguments. They are all very good and solid but now I must bring up another site that had similar troubles. Most people know of Hongfire, they had a very similar problem happen, though I am not sure where the server was located sadly enough. They ended up down for a while and came back with an even larger Loli base. I would like to state that legality wise the only way I think this could be wrong is in VERY strict cases, such as the dreaded Toddlerkon, or certain Doujins where they actually say and I quote "I love feeling my 11 year old sister around me like this." Those would be the only times that I could see it being wrong, as most of the characters in Anime or Hentai either look really young at age 231 or are like 15 with breast the size of coconuts (Insert Shippuden Hinata). Its just my opinion that this is all that FAKKU should really beware of.

Also, I would like to give a nice big E-Slap to all those that see Loli as someone put it so perfectly, a "Gateway Drug". You truly deserve to get a couple of negative IQ for that statement. So until Bush flips and tries to take away our bill of rights, I say let Loli live!

thing is, laws are meant to be followed, laws are meant to protect people, laws are meant to protect the freedom of the people

this banning loli material thing doesn't seem absurd enough to most people so it'll be around for a while and the only thing we could do is to follow it... or go around it

i've read somewhere that lolicon material in Japan isn't completely banned because it could be benificial in a way that such material could be used to vent men's lolicon tendancies

i don't think that such law would do anything good cause there are always people who would go against or around it.... so men with lolicon can still get their material and honest happy communities like Fakku might have to be taken down...
