i thought it was for CISPA that downloads were aborted...thanks for ur hard work anyway, and for -1 reputation :(

Spoiler:
Took me awhile to think of this a a temp solution for you people who keep complaining.

How to download manually:
Step 1: Right Click Image
Step 2: Save as
Step 3: Save
Step 4: Repeat until chapter is saved
Step 5: Create a folder
Step 6: put all your images into there
Step 7: Profit?

Alternate route if it takes too long or if your lazy.
Step 1: Google name of manga or doujinishi
Step 2: Download off of designated website
Step 3: Profit

I will copy it into a tutorial board if there is one at hand.

I can suggest a faster way for manual :D
There are those using the site also like a database, different from others original translators :D

Use firefox and greasemonkey "Fakku online viewer" and downthem all.

U get all pages directly, u right click on the page, not every image, and select downthem all, then select only images, not thumbs, and save in a new folder with manga name...they have also the page name :)

Profit like i do ^_^

If is too much ask me the title to host on mediafire :P

If you bothered to visit Feedback, Suggestions & Support, more specifically this thread, you'd know that Jacob's taken down the ability to download until he's sorted how they work. You may or may not know, but the website was updated a couple of days ago and it's related to that. Ironing out the kinks and all that.

I recommend G.E-hentai or Exhentai to download shit for the time being.

Manga is the Japanese term for comics. Doujinshi, while self-published, technically falls under the term as well.

Come on, I thought you knew that mang.

True but comics usually refers to drawn art from Europe or America while manga and doujinshi is mainly Japanese. (or in some cases Korean)

OH THANK GOD! I had thought fakku was turning into ehentai for a bit. I even registered a user account so as to confirm downloads weren't delegated to registered members.

Thank you for working so hard. You deserve a vacation. If I were a rich businessman I'd pay you to do what you do best.

A million thank yous again.

There are quite a few things not working at the moment, including favorites. For example, I've noticed some items don't have any comments listed at all, when I know I've witnessed them on that item before. And sometimes the 'Related Content' link is a no-show as well.

I suspect all of these issues will disappear once the download links re-appear. Re-designing the way your website interacts with its database isn't what I'd call a trivial task, but it's all in the name of progress. The new features Jacob is implementing will help all his users find what they're looking for much easier.

Your best option at this point is to simply be patient. Alternately, you could use the favorites function in your browser to bookmark the good stuff, at least until the site is completely restored.

Thanks for the info ^~^

I was wondering about that myself.

Please read, this is a question that's been asked a dozen times already. Jacob said it himself, and it's in the front page.

And for those wondering the Nosebleed forum still exists, but it is no longer on the top menu. Also, the ability to download doujins or manga from the site will be unavailable until we upgrade our file servers.

i hope the download is coming back soon :D

Meh, only pussies read and/or download Fakku (except those who download directly from the user upload section).

Guys, there's a simple solution to all this while the download links are AWOL.

I realize I'm preaching to the choir, but for the most part, FAKKU is an aggregator site - it's grabbing the manga from other translator sites and centralizing them. (In many cases those other translator sites have been posting their manga here as well.)

There's nothing wrong with loading each chapter in the viewer and downloading each page separately, but you're doing things the HARD way if this is your primary method. (You also run the risk of the viewer down-scaling the resolution of the pictures to speed up the loading times. MOST web viewers do this by default, by the way.)

The point you all seem to be missing is that the original translator sites still exist - and still offer download links on their own pages (for the most part.) On EVERY SINGLE chapter/story listed on FAKKU the translator is listed. Google the translator and you'll find their site; search the site and you'll find the item you're looking for.

lol. you do realize that sometime, there are "Translator: 'Insert Group Name'" that you can easily just click on? it also forward you to to the information on that group and include the link to their site?

another easy way, instead of searching google is to use google to find some "Manga Database" as those manga database contain information about the manga/doujinshi and even tell you which group did which.

also, you can try to find the credit page that each scanlation would include, which are often found at the end or at the beginning as i know most of them also include the url address to their group.
