For those complaining there is drama and whiners made because of rep:
The cause of drama and whining are you guys. If you guys stop causing drama, it might be a better place even with the rep. As StrayDog said, if you don't like it ignore it.

Deleting it completely no but i'm for a limit placed on how reps on user can give a single post those saying no are just the ones who get mad at have little, no, or negative rep

I've been a lurker for a long time, and I think negative rep points are a bit pointless. Positive rep points are good; it lets others know that x user works hard to get us our quality pornz.

I've noticed that a lot of negative rep points have been assigned as a matter of opinion whereas positive points are assigned to people who put up new torrents or CHECK UP ON THE STATUS OF SENGOKU RANCE FOR AN ENGLISH PATCH. +5,000!

He's probably thinking that most people seem to be ignoring the system altogether so why not just leave it as it is rather than take the time the time to deactivate it again. Heh.

I agree, although it does seem that a majority of the 'concerned members' wants it gone, me included.

How about we get rid of the negative rep first? I'm quite sure not everyone is against having positive rep.

I'm locking this thread as it has veered off course, Jacob is well aware what the majority thinks of reputation, but we will leave it on for a while and see how things fair up.
