Why can't I get into the Video section?

If anything you can find the account of someone who uploads a lot and choose find all posts by so and so person. This should allow you to see all their posts even if it is in a section that is locked out. Not exactly ideal or even convenient but it works. +pm them for the links.

video section became more out of control these day, with many people post licensed stuff or they post non licensed stuff in banned file host.

Just curious, but anyone can guess when will this matter be resolved?If it really was because of the copyright issues, the admins (Jacob, Mike, etc) will have to go through probably the entire video section, seeing that some of the older threads' videos are now licensed, etc. But Jacob's apparently busy with some convention works right now so probably will take about a few days.

Well, whatever happens happens.
At least the VN section is undamaged.
One thing I'm curious though, if HENTAI anime is copyrighted and semi-banned like now, why does the NON-HENTAI anime section is unharmed? I just can't understand.

Remember we are only assuming that it is down due to copyright issues right now. Somehow I don't think that is the case from looking at the front page.

anime companies can afford to "sample" unlike hentai because anime can reach a much wider audience. Also, unlike anime, hentai has an even smaller number of people willing to buy it then anime.

Don't be so quick to assume it isn't either. The subbed versions were put up before they started taking down the very same titles they put up. Also, the front page will change sooner or later, so it's not going to be there long. They may eventually remove the topic when it gets a little older to give people time to get the subbed version, after all who would go through the effort of the work and then toss it out after doing the work?

well normal anime got bigger market, sale from merchandise so basically they can afford it. However Hanime are made by small studio that release monthly not weekly so yeah , support them if you can.

As much as I hate to say it, in the future they should probably do a blanket policy (for videos at least) that "if it's uncensored, don't post it." From browsing the video section (or any section, really) uploaders were split into maybe three categories. Those that upload a lot of quality, recently released content mostly for the benefit of the community. Those that are looking to contribute by uploading mostly obscure releases that they see aren't in the master list. And those that are looking to profit by mass uploading anything and everything, often in a thousand links per file.
The latter two are unlikely to browse through the do not upload list for everything they upload, as they're either an infrequent uploader just trying to add something to the community through an older (and likely licensed) release or they just don't care.
Of course, although unlikely, it's also possible they're getting flak for unlicensed releases; it's a sad fact that just because it's unlicensed doesn't mean it's legal. Just more unlikely that the Japanese companies will go through the hassle of doing something about it.
This all appears to be speculation at this point, though. Hopefully the video section will be back up soon and nothing bad will come of it.

meh, that's the jest of it. Mike said a few of the unlicensed stuff got DMCA by the actual company that made the OVA. Right now, I assume it's just going over the list to remove those along with the licensed stuff. I would say, expect the front page post of kanajo to disappear as well sooner or later because of that.
Ugh.... that sucks, I'm glad that I got it DL'd.

why cant i get to user uploads/video section??? i mean it says i have to be logged in right? and i am, and i still, cant get there, plus when you try to go directly there https://www.fakku.net/viewforum.php?f=52 it says you must be logged in, but since i am logged only i can do is to logout... wtf is going on, am i the only one having this problem???
