Akihabara Majokko Princess

Funny thing is, it's rumored that the "turning japanese" in the song was meant to refer to the face people made while masturbating, which is kinda ironic.

If anyone has ever paid much attention to Kirsten Dunst, she's been a VA for a couple animes. She's also a Sailormoon fan.

Holy fuck its Mogudan art!
And I noticed these things in the video
Yoko cosplay
Haruhi references
Dragon Ball Kai Pachinko
The Zombies. Those guys are awesome dancers
Personally I thought Kirsten looks better in something with less artificial hair. She should have went for a Mikuru look or a Saber(Armorless)

What's sad is the past 2 1/2 years that I've been out of Japan, Akiba has gotten smaller. I'd say like 1/4 to 1/3 of Akiba has been lost to regular non-anime businesses. Was there last Dec.
It's kind of sad. I ended up having to go to Nakano to get some better anime goods.

It's about masturbation. Hell, anyone who listens to the LYRICS CAN TELL
NO SEX NO WINE NO WOMEN ITS DARK TURNING JAPANESE I GOT YOUR PICTURE
Its not hard to tell
Oh, hey, that's and incredibly good song as well! Nasty Nas!
But anyway, I wonder why the HELL she's there. I mean, she's the last person I would expect to be there, it's pretty random. It's kinda frightening and...well, I don't know.
It's the exportation of Japanese culture, which is really just American culture on steroids. As someone who's interested in Sociology and the study of human nature and cultures, it's pretty damn fascinating.
I'm no professor, not even a student. But it still fascinates the hell out of me. American culture pervaded Japan after WWII-those uniforms are based on AMERICAN SAILOR UNIFORMS-yet it's grown to some odd form.
Anyway, safe to say Japan's made somewhat of an impact on world culture. When you have celebrities going out there and seeing all the otaku-ness, it's bound to impact them and their work, or at least world view. Kanye already had all the KAWAI BEAR shit going on with his album.

I wouldn't consider the Japanese culture to be American culture on steroids.
The sailor uniform comes from the Brits, while the male uniform from the Russians. Both of course modeled from the military uniforms. Regular everyday clothing is more of a mish-mash of European and American, all crammed together in the Japanese way.
Food is way different from the west. Values are different. Many of the values of Bushido exist today. Discrimination is still pretty rampant. Don't think you'll ever get rid of it in any country though.
Live there and you'll see how different Japanese culture and American culture are.

Liked the MTV. I wonder if "Marry Jane" lol knows what all those hentai anime and games are. Or she's just shooting a mtv? Well anyways I liked it, though it's not very safe for work, but it'll promote good tourism around the world to see Akihabara.
I'll be waiting for the FAKKU version. That will be epic to see. :D

Maybe they can get Danny Choo and maybe some other foreigners living in Japan to do the wotagei. 3:09 is about the most common part you'll see.
