I always cropped pictures using gimp or photoshop for my avatar.. Something tells me I'm totally lost. ><

You can still crop them in Gimp, or Photoshop, this just takes a step out of the process since you no longer have to load an image editing program to crop your Fakku avatar. Rather you can just upload any image and crop out any part of the image through the forums.

The cropping is also a bit easier since you don't have to take aspect ratio, or canvas size into account, since the forums does it for you.

Just letting you know that the avatar cropping works perfectly!
