Is that problem 100 % fixed? Or will it happen again for the next time?

Backup your backups. Isn't that the truth? First thing they thought us in my disaster recovery IT program. Lucky, I had all my threads backed up, so re-uploading is not a problem ^^

Indeed. Whenever I created something I would always back it up on several computers, memmory sticks and my external hard drive.



These things happen sadly and so all we can do now is try and make do with what we've got. Time will heal things hopefully even though fakku has lost some ireplacable data.

My intro thread is non existant now, but I'll try and PM the users I said I was going too and I'll thank everyone here for their advice and greetings when I joined fakku. Thanks again guys :)

Thankfully the damage wasn't that extensive.

You ever notice how "something bad happens to FAKKU" whenever there's a serious topic on the front page? Like, when more than one person disagrees with the moderators of this site / blog / forum / whatever?

The last time that happened is still fresh in my mind; when FAKKU's favorite girls had lost to the "sluts and hoes" that everybody liked. Mizore from Rosario+Vampire. (I didn't like the show, but I voted for Mizori, I think; and I collected the h-doujins based on that show.)

It's kinda sad, and childish, how the people who run this ship are willing to destroy a bigger number of people's hard work and effort (delivering h-doujins and such) just because the former can't deal with reality. :(

All, and I mean, ALL of my posts are gone. Oh well. I made my now first post on the Sun Kissed thread so no problem there. =p I hope this won't happen again, for the sake of the rest of the members on this site. I give my condolences to the rest of them (like some of greggery's posts), I'm OK nonetheless.

This situation is sort of like flash drives: If you have a flash drive, get another one, so that way if your first one gets corrupted, you'll have a backup for your backup! =D

WTF are you talking about. All the doujins uploaded were not lost, only the forum posts were. Why would Fakku intentionally glitch a months worth of forum posts including ones Jacob made? Looks more like a SQL database error to me.

I'm probably just responding to a troll, judging by the rep.

Also, I would like it if Jacob would let us know if the posts have really been lost, so we don't end up with a ton of duplicates or lose new posts if the old backup is ever recovered...

I really don't want to re post everything if I don't have too. Lost a lot of videos and it will take a while to redo and repost them all individually.
