FAKKU Books: New Titles!

Definitely gonna be getting Toroke Manako and Porno Switch! They look amazing. I guess I'll be sticking to digital versions until there's about 10 Fakku! Books released and I'll buy all 10 physical copies at once so that I can save on shipping. :3

I want to vote for Hisasi's Porno Switch for the next release but isn't Shoujo no Toge by Hisasi is more recent work by the author? Or maybe Fakku will release all of Hisasi's work under Wani :)

While I like the author, I'm very against the NTR^2, that series was just too messed up... And there isn't too much of NTR lovers in Fakku I assume? Just my two cents >_

Maybe not on Fakku itself, but there's a ton of people into NTR on other sites. And this is going to do a lot to attract them, since prior to this, Fakku had a sort of vanilla-only reputation elsewhere.

And then there's people into loli, a lot of which (I hope) will buy the book regardless of whether they're much into NTR or not.

Allow me to wholeheartedly disagree.

That's usually what some people in "sadpanda" say, which is only one self-centered way to look at it. It's more like due to how content-packed the site is, nearly all people in very hardcore fetishes are in "sadpanda", and look nowhere else because they don't need to, while there's many mainstream audiences (casuals) who have no idea what "sadpanda" is and believe fakku is the be all and end all. As far as reception goes, I'd say sadpanda is literally the only place that actually welcomes it with open arms (and even there it's debatable). It's no doubt a book like Noise (not Wani) or Henreader or even Mochi's new tank (mixed bag for all people, going from vanilla to netorare) would have been a better pick. When you have to please a multiple audience either you pick a book covering various elements or you go softcore, you can't tell people to deal with it, not with such a hardcore very scorned fetish, on fakku of all places.

As for the reputation, again, it's just "sadpanda", and 4chan's /a/, which is basically lurked by the same exact "sadpanda" users.

If his plan was to please netorare fans, then by all means, if his plan was to please loli fans, I hope he plans a vanilla one after it because this is hardly the best, to say the least.

You're working under the assumption that none of the sadpanda users would ever buy anything and that none of the sadpanda users would change their opinion of Fakku because of this release.
For the former, I'm a sadpanda user. For the latter, I've seen a decent amount of people change their minds about the whole Fakku Books thing because of this.

I do certainly hope (and expect) Fakku to release more vanilla loli, too, but this was the best single book they could pick to establish "we'll publish anything we want to, if you don't like it, go fuck yourself".
You'll get a decent amount of people buying this just to support the First Amendment even if they like neither loli nor NTR.

Hisasi's manga I will buy next. I wish henreader's manga is up next. Those cute 2D lolis need a lot of love.

I know you work(ed?) for lwb and I know what I saw/read. Ntr is a niche fetish with a very vocal fanbase mainly residing in sadpanda that shills it (it's actually few users crossposting between /a/ and /v/ at times, sometimes for consecutive days) because it's annoying. Nothing more than this. The fact itself of all the things (could've been futa, ryona, prostitution) he could've picked he picked that sounds very patronizing to me, I would not be surprised if he did because someone was whining because of the guy who was working on it, then stopped, then finished it anyway.

Any anti-NTR posts usually drown in comments from NTR fans, though. And that poll doesn't really say much. If you can only pick one tag, anything else you like is left behind. Vanilla didn't get my vote due to another tag getting priority, I'm sure NTR-lovers may have had to make similar choices.

Not a very convincing counterargument, the tag is left behind by way too much, behind tags that don't even get many english releases to begin with, like futa. The difference is, futa can't be used as mentioned above to troll vanillafags lololo. These galleries crawl with haters as much as they crawl with fans, ultimately you can just spend a few hours and draw an average with favorites, I can tell you right now that the result is no different. Why do you think TLLP became the most popular group on the internet? It's because they were always working on original vanilla tanks, when doing their own thing and not being commissioned.

Before Fakku Books picked it up, did you know PuniKano was one of the best selling books in Japan last year? I think not, you probably saw twenty threads about some obscure ntr doujin in /a/ or /h/ instead. The funny thing about that is: they make fetish polls there too, and the results are the same (loli, vanilla, incest, rape right after them, ntr left behind many other fetishes), which shows it's few people talking about it all the time.
