[color=#2e1a6b]This app is amazing! The reader itself is far better than I expected (it's just as good as comicrack). The ability to read downloaded manga offline was a huge surprise to me, very useful and convenient.

This app seriously needs more publicity/better advertisement. I never clicked on this thread since the title didn't imply a finished product (I happened to get re-directed here from trying to view the last post of "America, fuck yeah!")

My feedback on a few things while running the app on my Nexus 7 with Android 4.3
[spoil]
[color=#2e1a6b]Whenever I open a page, I get a white screen saying "downloading cover image" that lasts 5-8 seconds. I can load pages on my browser instantly, so I'm not sure why the app loads them so slow. Pages will load in less than a second if it's cached, but browsing new content is annoying.

While reading a manga (both online and offline), there are certain things that cause the screen to turn completely white for 4 seconds: exiting the dropdown menu, returning to it from the lock screen, or returning to it from the "recently opened" screen on my android.

The next page isn't loaded until a split second after you begin to flip. This causes the black background to fill the left half of the screen for a split-second, until it flashes from the black background to the white manga, which is hard on the eyes. Changing the background to white makes this much more subtle, so I think white should be the default background (unless you can fix this). This problem exists offline too.

The search button is missing from the viewing favorites page and the manga information page.

The manga information page is very plain and ugly. Maybe rearrange some stuff and add a big "read online" button?

Other than what I've mentioned, I haven't experienced any problems. Love the app. The one feature that I'd like to see added is an option to choose which folder to download everything to. Not sure if that'd be hard to implement since each device might have a different way of organizing storage.

Thanks :D. I am going to follow your advice and create a new topic in the forum, but I don't know where (Fakku/Front Page News, General/Random, Hentai/User Uploads/Other) . Where do you recommend me?

I'm thinking in a new way to download the cover images (*In theory, faster), but maybe in the next version.

Well, that problem is a little difficult to fix, but for a while, I recommend you use Perfect Viewer(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rookiestudio.perfectviewer) for mangas downloades. (Enable in preferences)

I am not good designer xD. But if someone design me a new "manga information page", I can try to implement it.

Yeah, I am thinking to add that option, but it is a little difficult to do it, so it is going to take me time.

[color=#2e1a6b]Just send a message to Jacob asking where to put it. He might even make a front-page post if he really wants to publicize it.

[color=#2e1a6b]Good luck; probably the most needed fix on the app.

[color=#2e1a6b]I tried Perfect viewer, but I didn't like the controls. I'll just stick with the fakkudroid reader, since the problem is hardly noticeable with a white background.

[color=#2e1a6b]I think just a big rectangular box that says "read online" placed just below the thumbnails would help a lot.

Also, it might help to put various information items (except the description) on one line, so instead of

Language:
English

change it to

Language: English

[color=#2e1a6b]Actually, I just noticed that the "download" folder they were downloaded to is just a subfolder of fakkudroid, not my main download folder. I wanted this feature because I didn't want it cluttering up my main download folder, but since that's not an issue, then this feature is unnecessary for me.

I liked how you can just press the back button and instantly read another manga, good job with that.

It took me about 10 seconds that flipping the pages requires you to move from left to right. Now that I thought of it, it was because of those taiwan books that I've read from right to left.

Edit: just realised there is an option to change the direction

Great idea, but I think I'm good. I can still go on Fakku with little loss of features without an app

My phone would...
Uh.....
It would be.....
*sigh

As if my phone had enough hentai

Yes pls. But id' only get it if it was free.

I think it would be easier for the mobile version(whilst reading) to be able to slide through pages instead of clicking on them.

Good news! The API will be arriving very soon. If you're interested in trying it out send me an email: jacob@fakku.net

Going mobile would be so amazing. Especially since it would make access easier and having Hentai on the go would feel great. And it would also bring in more people since their are a lot of people who use there phones more than there computer
