[Locked] FAKKU Subscription Questions

Earlier today we launched the new subscription service on FAKKU. For a complete summary of what that means visit the announcement page. This is an incredible step forward for FAKKU as a website and the hentai community as a whole. I want to start up a thread where I'll be answering any questions you have about it.

Something I didn't mention in the announcement is that all of the artists will be visiting FAKKU to see their chapters! So if you like something make sure you leave a comment, they'll be reading them. We'll possibly be able to get some verified accounts for the artists and do some Q&A's on the forums, I'm going to look into it.

tl;dr Prepare to fap. There's a lot of hentai coming.

I'm lovin the direction where this is going. By the way would it be possible to have different prices for different subscription lengths? like pay this certain amount for 3 months or pay this other amount for a whole year subscription?

I don't see any reason we can't add that in the future. Though we probably won't be able to start thinking about it until early next year.

Yes we plan to add PayPal in the future, we are also looking at paysafe because we've had a few requests from beta testers. Apparently it's big in Europe?

Any plans to somehow make a tag to separate subscription releases and book releases? Just somewhere to easily find the releases like the books page.

We'll be doing a pretty massive overhaul on site navigation towards the end of the year and we'll be addressing a lot of the random issues then.

Will the beta testers receive a reward for piloting the program?

And will subscribers get the option to read one or more chapters of fakku books (tm) releases to "taste" them before forking over more money?

Also to answer the question: PaySafe is a pre-paid card service available in most European countries, its anonymous nature makes it attractive to quite a few people. Ideal is the biggest and safest payment method in Europe tough because almost every bank uses it opposed to credit card.

Are there future plans to print tanks from artists after enough chapters have been released in the subscribed issues Fakku will be translating?

Any chance we might be able to see more sketch art or notes and comments from artists like what Pyon-Kti and Bosshi have gifted to us? Those really hit home that this is affecting more than us, but the artists as well. Also, how can they come here to see their work and the comments? I thought Fakku was blocked in Japan.

I would really like 3 month or 1 year options at discounted rates. $12.95 is a bit over what I was expecting. Not sure if it's worth it for me. I think I might stick with the books or try it out for a month. Speaking of trying it, any thoughts on 1 or 2 week trials for this service?

Is the focus on magazines that are released from this point on only, or will previous issues be added as time goes on?

While we are subscribed, are we allowed to download whatever manga it might be, like we could back in the day. Or is downloading the manga going to be disabled so people don't just throw it up on a torrent site?

How long does it take for the subscription to kick in after payment?

I was a beta tester, but it was instantaneous more or less, like buying a digital copy of one of their books.

If you did it via BitCoin it can take at max 3~4 minutes due to the confirmation process at the core of the bitcoin protocol.

I just paid for my subscription, I saw the payment charged on my credit card, but my account still can't access the subscription content.

I tried to subscribe a first time and got a "Fakku is down for maintenance" error, tried again, got a success message, but my account is still not "Gold".

Can you check this?
