[Locked] FAKKU Subscription Questions

AssasinZAssasin Not Hentai Protagonist
Well, the subscription service seems to have gotten off to a decent start.

I'm pretty sure we're all looking forward to more content being put up eventually.

Considering I'm on here just about everyday, If I don't subscribe I'd pretty much have nothing to read...

And well, I'd join the subscription, but I'm currently really short on money. Hopefully by the time a paypal option is input I'll have enough to pay for a monthly subscription.

Nice, but there is still a lot of room to improve, like gallery descriptions, artists' info, circle renamings, magazine's information, better tagging, etc.
This has always been needed, and now that you are planning to "grow big" you should address these things as well.

Isn't it actually cheaper than what's offered books wise? 10$ for a digital book consisting of 200-ish pages. $13 for 2 digital magazines consisting of 800+ pages?

Unless I'm not remembering the total pages correctly.

That's completely different. You're buying a physical book and you own it forever until you lose it, sell it, or burn it. It doesn't require an internet connection, either. This is akin to an online streaming service and IMO it should be priced similarly to other services like it, or at least have the option of discounts for longer subscriptions.

I was comparing it to the digital books, not the physical copies. Fair enough point about the internet connection/ownership though.

The only subscription based hentai sites I know are either $30 per month(entire catalog) or $1 to $3 per two days (per untranslated and censored magazine).

Hello! Will more methods of payment (e.g Paypal) be made available in the future?

Yes we plan to add PayPal in the future, we are also looking at paysafe because we've had a few requests from beta testers. Apparently it's big in Europe?

When can we expect Paypal as a method of payment to be available?

My question: What's gonna happen to the Uploaders after all of the unlicensed content gets removed?

Super excited for this. It is a bit pricier than I had hoped, but I'll still be subscribing. If there ever is a discount bundle for 6 months or 12 months at a time, though, I'd jump all over that.

I immediately subbed. Over the years I've read your site, and going legit will only help bring more to the West. To those complaining that it's not free, keep in mind that there are people out there putting in effort to make content. Effort that is not compensated is just not moral. I'm glad that I can support the artists, especially as they spread out.

Thank you for your support, it means a lot to me and everyone involved. And after meeting a few artists, showing them that they have so many fans overseas is incredibly motivating for them. I hope we continue to impress you!

I'm just amazed that you sold over 65k books already. Is that print/digital combined or what?

yay, just subscribed.

but what's the easiest way to get to a list of subscription contents from the main page?

Is there a button (link) for it? or is there going to be one?

Going to subscribe either today or tomorrow but I have a few questions and I do apologize if these have been answered before hand. I did go check through the previous posts to make sure I wouldn't, hopefully, repost an answered question -

1. If you unsubscribe at a later date, does this mean all releases that came about during your subscription would be lost as well?

When you subscribe you are granted access to 100% of the content. To make it a little easier to understand you are subscribing to FAKKU as a service, rather than specific pieces of content. Similar to how when you subscribe to Netflix you have access to the entire library.

2. Are we going to be able to download these digital copies just like the Fakku books?

You will only be able to read this content online.

3. Will this subscription fee in the near future possibly drop?

No plans to reduce the price. The price takes into account a lot of different things; paying the artists, paying our employees, credit card/processing fees, etc.

4. If we are subscribed, we won't have to pay for any additional fees? Is it a flat 12.50 USD?

There are no additional fees, it is a flat $12.95 per month.

I've been with Fakku for quite a while and I am liking the direction the site is going in. I haven't been a part of the Fakku Books thing, but reading about this subscription thing is making me want to be a part of that. I struggle to find quality series and chapters now that I've read so much and it seems like getting a FAKKU subscription will give me the quality chapters I'm looking for, so I'm excited! Not so pumped about the price per month and wish it was lower or I could pay for a years worth and get a discount, but I understand there are factors that go into making it that price, so none the less I will most likely try to get a subscription in the near future :)

A few questions:
2. Is the FAKKU subscription entirely digital or will there be any opportunities to get some releases in print?

2. At this time there are no plans to publish physical versions of the magazines offered in FAKKU Subscriptions.

Pity, I would have considered subscribing if there was some kind of physical release. Even though we get digital copies with our purchase of Fakku books, the only time I actually sit down and read them are when I receive the physical book. If I think about it, it's the only instance I get to look at hentai NOT on my computer screen.

I'm not saying I wouldn't pay for a magazine subscription or that it's too expensive, it is actually cheaper than what we pay for physical books with more content, but I can't see myself paying for something I probably won't use when I already have such a huge backlog of hentai. I no longer come to Fakku to ingest hentai, haven't in almost a decade. I only come for the merchandise and the forums as it's generally one of the more positive hentai communities.

If I had to ask questions, will there be a yearly subscription model, at what price, and will there be any kind of perk/discount for Fakku Book buyers when transitioning to Fakku Subscription?

LordAntony That Escalated Quickly
I love this site and have purchased a few books from you already so I definitely support where this is going.

A little strapped on cash for awhile, but I want to give this a test for a month or two when I am able. I hope you guys consider some sort of payment plan! (e.g. Monthly, tri-monthly, yearly, etc) I would definitely jump on that, ( :

Keep it up!

I was wondering what currency the payments are in?

Theres so much id like to say but it would just be a uneducated random nobodys futile opinion on the matter. I understand what both sides are saying. I wish this happened in the spring or next summer when winter isnt coming and moneys tight! Keep on keeping on and ill cya when I cya Fakku. ❤ D:

P.S. Someone may have asked this and/or I missed it being said someplace (Sorry in advance if so :x). If you sub than unsub do you still get to view the content for that month?

Okay so this may just be a dumb question but will free accounts be able to still have forum access and the ability to DM each other? As much as I do enjoy the content that is put out by you guys reading through the forums and chatting with the awesome community has been some of my favorite moments.

Yes, Jacob has stated before that the forums as a whole will still be available for all free accounts on the site. Only the Fakku Books section is closed off except to those who paid.
