Hello, im trying to pay for my subscription but the server is down :( when it will be online again??

Paypal is what this subscription thing needs. Once that's in place, pretty sure lots of people would sign up. I know that's what's holding me back with signing up.....

I would prefer a system where payment/subscription doujins are eventually free. So you pay to watch them immediately, not for the right to fap.

Also, i think payment content should never be more than 33% of the total content. I've seen too many internet services to fall for being too greedy.

Right now fakku it's not different from other premium sites. I'm a bit disappointed.

This pretty much. The price seems pretty high atm that coupled with if chapters are behind a pay wall forever its likely to push some people away.

So once subscribed, what do you guys think is the realistic amount of subscribed content you'll even be reading?

Hi o/
Since I didn't see anything about buying previous months releases, I suppose you're planning to follow one of these two options:
-Becoming a subscriber allow you to see all the releases but in this case it will not be fair for those who paid the months before
-Subscribing only allow you to see the releases of the month you paid for but in this case you will never be able to see the releases of the months you missed.
So did you just forget to explain how to obtain previous releases (or did I miss it) or will you follow one of these options?

This actually has been answered. When you subscribe, you get access to ALL the previous material on the site.

Then I'm also a little disappointed about the direction fakku is taking. This site is here to allow us to share Doujinshi right? Suddenly you decide we should pay for these two magazines. I'm not saying it's bad and I agree with your point of view but either your goal is to become the amazone of the hentai magazines and in this case say it now or you want to remain what you were until now and just be paid for the job you did (and this is ok) but in this case you should not forbid the versions of these chapters made by scantrad teams on the site. EDIT : ofc we would be talking about a b&w censored version of the releases

Not really sure what you're saying, but Jacob's team is doing their own translation for Fakku Books and the magazines are all new material even in Japan, so scanalation teams probably haven't even translated them either. There's no reason to host censored, scanalated chapters when Jacob's team did it and it's uncensored.

Jacob said he'd try to implement PayPal in the future.

I've been a member of fakku for going on five years now. Hundreds of thousands of titles read, I've Boughton several books and even goodies from the store. At first the advertisements didn't really bother me, I understand this is a business and you need to make a profit. But lately they have become super intrusive, and even bait clicky(as in I hit the skip button but instead it brings me to their weird child porn site). Now we come to find out the true motive behind it. A $12 a month subscription cost to remove adds and read some slightly higher quality stuff than we've been getting lately. That's more expensive than netflix! Is this going to get out of hand? Probably. I mean for all the years I've been here its been a fairly solid website, with goodish content released somewhat daily. But if the whole Manga tab or even doujinshi tab become over crowded with this subscriber bs, I'm done. And what about the books?!? Are people that pay this subscriber cost going to have to pay for the books on top of it? Now don't get me wrong here, I love this site, and the community in it, I'm just not sure I understand where you think that this quality of material is worth $12 a month. Sure that dosent seem like a lot, but compared to a lot of other services that offer much better products at a lower subscription cost, it's a little crazy.

I wish you can put a 6-mos and/or yearly plan with manual renewal. Really don't want to pay monthly because I had bad experiences with auto-renewal services on both my credit and debit card. Also, I just wanted to be charged only once in a while.

I know there's an unsubscribe button but it will be less hassle if the service will automatically discontinue and there's the person's prerogative to continue or hold the service for a while. Some people are paranoid (including myself) over someone charging every month on a service that is not considered a necessity (Well for some actually ( Í¡° ͜ʖ Í¡°)).

You might get more subscribers this way.

Wow, this is just...bad. Fakku was the go-to place for quality hentai. Now, you're blowing hot air, saying "what we're doing is good for everyone involved, the entire west!"...as long as you pay us. You're saying you have "plans" to rotate free content. Tossing out words like "corporate" and stuff. Come on man, this just really gives people a bad feeling, and even chasing people off the site. Own up, you saw a chance to make real cash and went for it. First with the books, and now with everything. If it occurs to you to make some stuff free, then maybe. If people aren't giving you money, they might as well leave, right? Real nice way to treat your long-time fans, guys. I'm not leaving entirely, but I'm not coming here every damn day like I have been for years.

We'll be looking into those kinds of subscription deals / different lengths in the future. This is the our first roll out so we wanted to keep it simple.

Having wrote the code that handles unsubscriptions, I can assure you it works really easy and painlessly. If for whatever reason though it doesn't work though due to a random outcome, we'd help you out no problem.

Sorry if this question is already answerd but when can i be able to pay the subscription using paypal?

(the time range if possible e.g in a year or two.)

I want my subscribtion here to not show on my credit card bill :p

We're looking into it still. Paypal It a little weird when it comes to subscriptions for adult content sites.

In my personal opinion, $12.95 is way too much. I'm paying the same over at Crunchyroll and I get tons of anime and manga for that price.

There should be some other subscription options.

I think this is the right direction though. If you guys get a cheaper 1-year subscription and maybe some black friday deals, I'll totally buy a sub.

Does subscribing allow you to read previous content?

There are subscriptions that allow you to read content from the day you purchase the subscription. You aren't allowed to read previous issues, unless you pay for it. For example, I buy a subscription for June 2015. I can only read from that month forward. I can't read May 2015 content or older.

You get access to all previously released content as well.

Atmaniac There is no too big
- Uncensored
- REALLY High Quality
- 40-50 Chapters each month
- Simulpublishing

Shut up und take my money! It's like a dream come true. $ 12,95 per month are totally worth it and absolutely NOT too expensive!

Edit: When will the servers be online again?

Say goodbye to lightsaber dicks or heart mosaics, or black and white barcode censoring. xD

I knew it was coming, just a shame it means that we won't see anymore fanfiction.

It's hard to sell something that has been "free" for so long, and still is from many sites. I can understand some people's complaints come from this perspective, and they don't understand economics...

It's really too bad though... all the people comparing to Netflix - with 65 million subs you can charge less. It's called economy of scale. With a smaller group it costs more, and everyone that refuses to pay because some other service costs $x.xx is just ensuring the price of hentai stays high.

Yeah, so you are the one who don't understand economy at all. "economy of scale" doesn't work on a service, and it isn't used for determining the price a service will cost(it can be used for a product, but often it is just used to increase profit Ex. Apple). The only extra cost they have for each extra customer is the electricity, and a bit more strain on their servers (possible support as well, but you don't include that in this).

Everyone just steals and ensures that we're left with nothing but bootlegged and randomly translated censored content.

You do know that it was what Fakku was doing, and is in fact still doing until the end of the year?

That's the sad thing... just like the diff between buying from iTunes vs torrents, you get more music - more quality, variety, and more ownership and less digital rights protection once it's established and people pay a nominal fee.

Just to be sure you meant that getting your music with torrent wins in all those aspect right? If yes, then it seem like a bad comparison :-/

i've got no credit card and no bitcoins.

if you would accept paypal and giva a discount for 12 month subs, i would subscribe instand.

if paypal is making to much trouble, just use skill or another service.

but dont bother with paysafe, they want to much fees...

oh and like others already said, 13 bugs a month is to much.

@Servexia: normaly the price go down if the demand is low. when the demand rises, the price go up as well.
in fact, i don't think the price on a fakku sub will ever go down. if there will be more ppl paying and fakku adds more stuff, the price will go up, you bet?

Skrill has the same anti-porn language in it ToS. “6.7. It is strictly forbidden to send payments in order to pay for: […]porn and hardcore content or services”

As for the credit card issue... there is prepay cards everywhere.

This would probably be a good Idea and make my reviews a little more legal, but are there still going to be titles being posted where you don't have to subscribe to monthly payment?
