The American Revolution.I'd rather have the American Civil War turned into an Anime adaptation. Then I get to laugh at all the dumb generals that the North sent to defeat the South. Wasn't until after the Battle of Gettysburg did Lincoln get his hands on right officer material to finish the war.
I believe that Baccano! took place during the Prohibition era. Though of course, there were many other factors that made the story quite unrealistic.

It was an unfair battle because Toradora (Taiga's anime) hasnt been subbed since episode 8 (episodes 9, 10, and 11 have yet to be subbed by anyone on the net)! That is so unfair, and is very damaging alone, plus there's the fact that its a new anime, and 8 episodes that it took about 1-2 weeks for each episode to be subbed is near impossible to leave a great enough impression on even the most devoted Toradora fan, and against an anime with 50+ episodes out... come on. It was a slaughter.http://www.baka-updates.com/search.php?keyword=Toradora&type=title
enjoy your episodes that you were missing.

Makes me think of this:OBAMA-KUN! HILARY-CHAN!
Anyone else think it's odd that Bill Clinton seems to be represented as Hilary Clinton's FATHER here?

This doesn't belong here, and episodes past eight have been subbed. The other day, I watched episodes eight, nine, and ten in a row. And I know episodes past that have been subbed by various groups.

Well... Axis Power Hetalia is getting an anime... does that count? Too bad it's the kind that's aimed at girls -- the rotten kind at that.

I do. But nevertheless, it's a little bit sick. George (at least this one) is supposed to be seen as a true american hero. (USA seems to be the country with the highest rate of heroes.)

I wouldn't mind seeing the Unification of Germany as an anime, maybe that will make people from other countries like Otto von Bismarck ;D
A biography of Martin Luther and Johann Calvin would be nice too, oh, and Cromwell's revolution (that one is somewhat made in Zero no Tsukaima Futatsuki no Kishi, though it's laughable for people actually knowing european history). And of course the fight over domination in Scandinavia around the times of Kalmar Union. The war between Afrikaaners and Brits in 1901... Life of Katherine the Second would also be a great thing...
On the other hand, although I'd like to see a lot of things from world history in anime, I'd be rather afraid, knowing what the Japanese know about European culture (Anybody saw D.Gray-Mann? the motive of a bento seller in XIX century Romania was simply ripping the head near the asphalt.)
