Historical Events That Need an Anime Adaption.

i know some of this was meant as a joke but I seriously wanted to bring up the idea of an anime based off of rome, perhaps not the rise of Caesar but the time afterward, around the rule of Augustus, the period was more dramatic and full of murder/incest/war and is FAR more interesting than any period since the last world war.

Also an anime based on the crusades would also be awesome, something like Le Chevalier D'Eon but set in Jerusalem would be ridiculous.

I'd like to see an anime adaptation of the 60s and 70s. Anime hippies and drug sequences would be so radical.

I disapprove making the actual historical heroes to be main characters. What I thought is that it's better to make a fictional team if the particular event don't have a person cool enough which I suppose is already performed to Knights of the Round which is British but not based on real knights or kings. I thought about something like a la MGS villains. Unless there are truly cool looking official or hero in American history like Davy Crocket he be shown like he's Kenshiro.
