Am I the only one here who..

constantly uses Google to ensure that all of my words are used and spelled correctly?

Not «all of my words». Just those I am unsure about. And after I check and write it once, I don't need to check it for the next time.

I'd like to use the excuse that English is not my first language but it sometimes happens with the one which is indeed my first language every now and then. I also get a bit paranoid with some words so I can't relax until I check. Oh well, better to check and learn than to ignore and look like an illiterate idiot.

(Fun fact: I did check the word «illiterate» but just to make sure it was right which it was)

Not so much that use it to spell check, but I tend to use it to see if I am saying the words correctly in English. Many times, there are things I want to say, but don't translate so well to English, which is where google comes into play

Stop making threads. And, no, I don't really use Google that often to spell/meaning check. Maybe once in a blue moon.

On rare occasions I do Google the meaning of a word. Rarer still I use it to check how to spell it, and then it's usually to disprove someone's claim a word is spelt another way.

Having said that though, I had to check how to spell "existence" earlier. I still keep spelling it "existance".

I used to back when my vocabulary wasn't as rich, but now it's fairly rare that I have to look up any of the words I write or read.

English is not my first language, so there are times I'm not sure about how to spell certain words.
So yeah.
Google translate FTW.

For some reason- it simply took me the longest time to remember how to spell 'occasionally'.

"Am I the only one to-", No you're almost never the only one to do be doing a specific thing.

Also as easy and convenient as it is to just let Google fix your mistakes always keep in mind that you're holding yourself back by constantly relying on it.

I use it when I get tired of over using a word, Chrome does all my spell-checking.

No I don't really use Google unless I don't know a word.

I do the same for sites that don't support spell check.

What? No one here uses a dictionary? I'm baffled.

i regurlary use google to checkk if my wurds r speled perefectly.

I have seen many words on Fakku that does not shows up in the dictionary, so Google is a reliable solution in these cases.

Would it be a different case if it's a legit online dictionary that updates every month? (not Google mind you)
