I don't understand why people think F/SN is a prerequisite for F/K since the two are in separate universes having their own sufficient explanations to stand upon and story is not what you are watching the F/K for.

No. Code Geass is different from the art style of another or Zaknyou. The pallet plays a part of my opinion and their super pale skin.

The little 10 year old princess in me goes for the sailor moon reboot. My general top picks would probably be either Tokyo Ghoul, Space Dandy or Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Either way, nothing mind blowing for me this season.

Hard to say with Hanamonogatari still waiting to air. Right now Hanayamata, Fate/Ilya, Jinsei and, Sabagebu are all good. I'm expecting Glasslip to turn into a great shitstorm by the end so it might surprise me.

Same nasuverse, different universe.
Once again, as a warning, you'll find no sweet yuri loli action in Fate/Stay Night.
Also, as an update, I've caught up on Zankyou... new favorite for anime of the season.

Nasu decided against it in the end however and Illya's scenes from her route got reworked to fit in the other routes(namely Heaven's Feel).
