One would imagine that the main character being "screwed" would be the chief reason one would watch hentai for.

But in all seriousness, some people simple prefer netorare or domination. It's really all about what arouses the consumer.

Well obviously you're just coming across H-anime with those themes. There are people out there that like it, you're obviously not one of them. You should look for material you're into.

People who like it don't need to explain that for you. Just go watch what you want to watch. You're just another typical person upset by that genre of hentai. For some people it turns them on, there's really no explanation to give.

Nope. Bad endings are best endings in some H-anime. Take Ran->Sem: Hakudaku Delmo Tsuma no Miira Tori and Shoujo Senki Brain Jacker for example. They both have bad endings, but their bad endings are good endings to the whole story.

Which is why giving an explanation of why people like endings like that would have been pointless, because in the end you will still have preference over happy endings.

No, you don't get it. I too enjoy a "happy ending", but sometimes, the drama amd art kicks the arse of happiness. Take Yokorenbo Immoral Mother (2 Episodes), it is NTR, somewhat mindbreak, and drama. The ending might be considered disgusting for some, but I loved it, the immoral MC, and the family. The ending:

I have to agree with you though. For the most part I appreciate more traditional happy endings better. (Inb4 Vanilla Fag), but I've run across a few that I thought were bad, yet good in a weird way.

Ever seen Stepmother's Sin? The ending to that is so ambiguous. Does the MC shoot himself? Or does the MC shoot the mother? You're left entirely unsure. It's bad endings like this that add a necessary spice to some hentai that otherwise is lacking in other areas (the sex in Stepmother's Sin's hentai scenes IMO is a bit lacking)

Like School Days, (Fuck you for ruining my ability to have a boner for like, two weeks after I played that game and got a bad ending u.u) sometimes an hentai material becomes famous simply because of its bad endings.

Nevertheless, I prefer my Hentai to have some sort of story. I hate traditional Meet N' @#$% type Hentai's because they seem a little bland to me. Once again, I prefer the happy ending.
