so you're letting the bad guys win? thought you were stronger than that? Didn't you tell me you didn't care what others thought? Didn't you tell me you could not be told what to do? Sounds an awful lot like you're giving up.

I've never talked to you, HimeTakamura, but I have seen some of your posts, and they definitely show that there is nothing wrong with you being a member of Fakku. Not that there's a high standard here (not dissing anybody; that's actually a good thing sometimes).
If you want to leave, it's your decision, because why do something if it upsets you or doesn't make you happy? Even if 90% is good and 10% is bad, if that 10% really gets on your nerves or bothers you, you shouldn't be expected to just deal with it. That said, the 90% may be so good that it's worth dealing with the shit.
You should always remember that each person here is equal. If one person says you're a douchebag, so what? It's just one person. I'm sure for every one person who dislikes you, there's at least one person who likes you. So, if someone says you suck and two people say that you don't, don't focus on the one person who said you suck; focus on the fact that two people said that you didn't. Because really, post count, reputation, how long the person has been here, that stuff doesn't matter. Each person only counts worth one person. And this one person says that you've been a fine member. And that I would bone your seventh grade self (if I was also in the seventh grade. Okay, even if I was in the tenth grade).

I disagree with what you've said; post count and how long someone has been here is very important. A high rep along with that helps too. when I first joined, I didn't give a fuck what the person with no avatar, 0 rep, and a join date of 5 days ago said. I did, however, make sure to read whatever a fakku elite said.

it's true, we do give that title a certain amount of importance, as well as join date and rep... Its a flawed system but it's the only one we have.

Except it does. It tells you who's been around a while, which is really all you need to know.

I've never judged a person on their amount of posts, just... by how often they're in IRC. Which means you win. Congratulations! (Long ad ensues.)

hrmm? thats not quite true, join date means you've been here on Fakku for long enough to know whats up, it's a generalization because the user could have been away for the entire time but it's a pretty safe assumptions that users with older join dates have a good idea of whats going on. Also higher rep does in general mean that user helps out in one way or another, it is simply quite amusing. As for post count, that truly means nothing.

Not really. You've been here a lot longer than me, but I'm an Elder, and have only been a member for a little over a month.
I don't expect someone to treat me differently, of heaven forbid grovel at my feet because I'm an Elder.

Sorry I was referring to the post count specifically. I should have been clearer.

Which is why it's a flawed system. There needs to be a title system based on rep, post count, and join date.

I won't say goodbye rather I'd just say that you should have a good vacation. We'll welcome you back here anytime.

Anyways I kind of think that the post count and title doesn't really reflect on Tsurayu that much because he was only here for like what a month? And spammed his way up into an elder even though his posts were legit, but he got there and its probably just me but I'm gonna say that because he wasn't here as long as the rest of us he doesn't know the forums as much as we do. And as for rep it just kind of shows how much you contribute to Fakku or the occasional +rep because of the lulz.
But yeah Hime leaving seems like a douchebag move (no offense) we try as a community to be very welcoming and nice to our new members but I guess I could say its like a trial period when you first start out. It determines whether your gonna stay and be active on the forums and be a part of the community or your just gonna leave and be like a waste of time for everyone like a troll or lurker. Just because one person or maybe a small group of people offended you doesn't mean you need to leave, its just internets its not like everything here needs to be taking seriously. But meh its just kind of a disappointment to see a new member leave because of some bullshit that happened to him/her since she said she's gonna still visit Fakku, hopefully she'll change her mind.

No, it's not a douchebag move, Hime was right to do what Hime did. Yeah, Hime may have made some mistakes, but Hime took a lot of shit for them too. If I could have Hime stay, I would. I know that Hime would be a great contribution towards this community. There is no trial period on Fakku, never has been as far as I'm concerned. Some people came here, raised their post count, asked a few questions and never got flamed for it, they got accepted easily and they're now great contributors and Elaround the forums. I've been here for a while(on various accounts) and I've never once seen anything quite like(though there have been similar periods) the situation she was in.
I'm not trolling, I'm just stating my opinion, I have nothing against you. But like a lot of other people, you're judging some one you haven't even gotten to know.
