Today, I browsed a forum for a mecha/harem comedy fanfiction.

As result, I came up with a grimdark story where kids fight and die in mercenary wars, most popular sport on Earth are mecha duels, vast swathes of planet has been literally glassed with technological terror bombs, and corporations rule over the world in place of nations, and the only other alternative is mafia-like terrorist group, or vague religious fanatics that preach One World Order.

I am of the sentiment of Gahald Mills. I would also like to add that it sounds like a very funny story as well, maybe because it is satirical (given the references to the New World Order or corporatism) or how surreal it sounds like. Is it serious fanfiction?

It's just something I randomly came up with a while ago, and was inspired to post it. I'm most likely not going to write it at the moment, since I'm busy with other stuff.

It's partially satirical, some things obviously mock the way the world is going, and there certainly would be humor. But the corporations and certainly ruthless, and wide spaces of the planet were already destroyed, with billions dead.

I suppose, it is tad surreal, like most AC games.
