half my units been wounded, I'm leaving them on the second floor of the main building and continuing alone. Send a MEDEVAC for them ASAP. sorry I can't support you right now, hopefully we're getting reinforcements soon, hole up in the room you're in and set up traps for any hostiles that breach.

Placed several claymore and frag traps around and in the biulding i'm in
got full eyes on, on your units, ill protect them whilst a Med works theyre way up there,
Quite busy now in the building, hostages have been removed from premises, and ive got defoinite eyes on that Female is Hostile.
Ive took down at least 6 men, and now my postion is openly known, hard to get eyes on long enough to get clean shot when bullets are whizzing past youe ears, would like some sort of distraction or reinforcment soon.

Hopefully, our other comrades get here soon, I've made it up to the 4th floor, seems to be where they're all situated in. I'm going to try and split them up and pick them off, I got your message about the female hostage/hostile. I'm going to kill the lights so be sure to pick of any who go for the windows if you can.

Ive got eyes on one both the male hostages now, theyre cowering in a corner on the 6th floor, in the 2nd room to the right, the terrorists dont seem to care about them any more, theres no one guarding them now.
Personally i think we should get the hostages and get out, leave all this fighting for another day, its definitly getting to hot in there

Already on the 5th floor, the hostages are on the 6th right? 2nd room to the right. I'm almost there, you hang on for a while I'm getting Team Sierra to cover the entrance to the main building.

((Okay, this is actually kind of funny to read through and being a part time WoW Rp'r with a love for modern war scenario's I think this is probably the closest I can get to Modern combat rp. It's better at least than Operation Flashpoint games.

Anyway, I'd like to join in and since 38 pages is a TAD bit much to read through I could use a bit of info on how best to do so.

Going from my past experiences that there is ussually some info needed I'll just post a few bits and pieces. Nothing personalized like names unless this thread also employs some form of OC's or other forms of regulation.

Rank: Corporal, considered for promotion to Sergeant.
Role: Auto Rifleman, heavy weaponry.
Trait: Accurate, even with an LMG (in short bursts).

It would be nice if you could tell us a little about your experiences (doesn't have to be real of course), and ould you please be more specific with what your applying as?

When you get accepted you can choose which weapons you want your basic equipment to be and Kei will order it. Your first order is free.

Again, I don't really know what I'm applying for. I can easely whip out an oc (original character) to act as, or I can act as myself with or without a different name. I'm not entirely certain what you guys allow and the last thing I want to do is be a bother.

I'd be the guy carrying the SAW and laying down suppresive fire. As a weapon I would use the Mk.48 Mod.0 if given the option.

Going from the idea of an OC:

Oswin "Kaleopolitus" Morey, or Kal as he likes to be called. He explains the odd nickname to be a crazy name for a crazy guy but his craziness is debateable.
He finished basic training seventh best and was picked out for sniper training by his Drill Sergeants due to his amazing hit rate per shot. But they quickly found out that the rifles used be snipers have an itsy bit few rounds per clip for Kal's taste and he shot out a full mag in seconds. He was transferred to be trained as an Automatic Rifleman which proved to be a much better fit. He finished his training course top of his class and was sent to Afghanistan five months later.

Six months of fighting later, eighty percent of his squad got killed protecting a small village from a terrorist ambush. In the close quarters his CO performed poorly and multiple men died due to bad calls. Despite this the Staff Sergeant in control was awarded a medal for bringing back five living men. Kal held his Staff Sergeant responsible despite this and in a burst of anger back at base when the Staff Sergeant snorted at the deaths he caused he resorted to kicking the poor man in the nuts. Really, really hard.

Given the choice between inactive service, intensive therapy and very likely job loss in the long road and an immediate dishonorable discharge, Kal opted to go with the latter and was thrown out of the army.
Now he is trying to get into the Private Military sector and has applied to Durandal Military Industries Inc. with a letter of application.

You could apply as something like Heavy Support since that would fit your weapon being an LMG.

Of course the choice is yours.

I'm halfly ashamned of myself and halfly I don't care for having forgotten some important information such as age for example. Editted it in.

Anyway, wikipedia uses the terms Team Leader, Rifleman, Grenadier and Automatic Rifleman to sum up a fireteam. Hence why I use the latter to describe myself. I would personally view Heavy Support to be an AT team. But whatever fits you guys.

Just make do with Raider as my call name then but I still stand firm on his nick being Kal. *Pouts lips* From this point on I'll need guidance to know where the (*) I am, what the (*) I'm doing and what the (*) is around me.
Personally I'd say he's stuck at whatever place you use as a headquarters untill the next mission. But then again, knowing the overzealousness of some storylines/fights that might take weeks o.o'

Then you're applying as Automatic Rifleman.

Then I say welcome aboard, we'll just have to wait for Scarface to confirm it.

In the meantime just say which weapons and accessories you want for them and Kei will order them when he gets the chance.

Well, that is KIND of the equivalent of being an Automatic Rifleman. You're right up in their faces, kicking ass. You're in a lot of danger but you also have immense firepower to counter that risk. I love the idea of it ^^

a new recruit? thats awesome, our PMC is getting bigger and bigger, I'm sure Scar'll be pretty excited whenever he gets back online (haven't seen him in a couple of days). Anyways, Raider, want something to order? head down to my store(links in the signature) and place an order. since you're new, you're basic equipment package(your first order) will be paid with our Company's funds instead of your own, but if you need any new stuff like updated stock or more ammunition or whatever, you'll need to pay with your own funds.

Our main base in a samll island off the coast of Greece, we're usually in counter-terrorism operations but sometimes we get the chance to go head-to-head against other PMC groups. That's basically everything you need to know. if you want to know more just ask me or Scar (since we're the ones who started this PMC).

I guess I'm kind of considered 2nd in command here, Scar is our C.O. but he's barely on FAKKU anymore(idk, a lot of stuff going on irl maybe). Mission: Retake the town of Al Fuqaha
Time: Mid-Afternoon

Entering via Heli-drop from Mi-17s, you are to assist rebels in retaking Al Fuqaha. Libyan Soldiers are equipped with Post Cold-war era weapons and Garrison includes an estimate of over 2,500 men and a few armored vehicles.

Town has few two or more story buildings so you'll be fighting dirty in the streets a lot. watch out for kill-boxes in tight alley ways and eliminate all hostiles. We've no contracts with NATO so be sure to avoid their fighters since we'll be deemed as Unlawful-combatants.
