yes very, it was the French army's weapon of choice during World War I and even during then was slowly getting replaced with other rifles
its not surprising to see so many PPSH41s near the end, its design basically was incredible more cost effective than the PPD-34 and its rate of fire is devestating

Yeah, pretty much.That thing's supposed to be used by partisans, but because of the invasion scare, the British added it as a stop-gap measure to fill the weapon shortage.
