The game is set up to destroy light upon abusing res. Let me explain. Lets say there are 5 elements left in the game. 3 of them are allied with light and one is not. That one element will do all it can to kill light, and allies of light may attack other allies of light, and remember every time an Allie is killed thats 20 rating. But in any case your mostly right about things being unbalanced, I think that for the time being we should accept the rules and roll

and if the light element died, the same goes for the vassal elements
they have no choice but to surrender if we revived all of the elements

and if the light element died, the same goes for the vassal elements

They could be reborn or resurrected. But your right, I will fix issues here next game.
