I think there's that saying of "Blue Blood" for royalties, as in the blood is so royal that it's the color blue, or just royal blood. Purple also can stand for royalty. But I think both are a western Europe thing.

In China, the royal color is yellow : D

@luin Well, it's a lovely cafe and even your picture for the thread has flowers. I think a florist would be a nice addition, as a welcoming cafe can always use beautiful, sweet-smelling flowers on the tables and around : )

Yeah, purple was also reserved for Roman Emperors ("the imperial purple") and later on, Roman Catholic cardinals.

In France, the blue was default color of monarchy for a very long time, before they switched to white; blue became a stand-in for nobility and royalty-controlled french Church.

Funnily enough, in Poland the color of filthy rich magnates was blood red.

Aint that the truth.

Well, with Cherry also keeping the maid position, she'd have two jobs listed if I added a florist. I think it's better to have just one job listed officially, she can still take care of the flowers in her current position as well.

[align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]Blue blood comes from height of hierarchy - the higher you are, the colder you are; therefore blood is blue from cold.

Purple comes from the fact that purple was a very expensive colour to make - only the very, very wealthy could afford it and were thus afforded great respect.

Technically, I cut the list shorter, if I remember correctly.

As for new staff, do you mean a new list for v4 or new staff in general?
