i would say to hold off as the 2016 is almost over and samsung will announce their new phone in february.
so the s7 should drop in price. and when we hit 2017 this years phone should also drop in price as they will be last year phones.

if you want a iphone go for the 6s (2015 model) as there isn't much difference between 6s and 7
