I never said it was bad. I only said it was the only one better than the mediocre rest. With the exception of yours, of course, that one was below all others.

some bureaucrat from the BBC pick who they want to sent to eurovision, and not by someone who knows talent or how to win.
If the UK want to win then the BBC needs to stop picking who they want but instead get someone who knows how to produce a number 1 song.
Here is a nice article i found and the user comment are also a nice read
Why Eurovision needs to be saved from the BBC

They have chosen some great songs as well, but this time it really was an awful decision...

For last few years they where picked by the BBC before that The BBC would hold a competition where judges and the public voted/had a say.

The thing with eurovision that lets it down for me is almost everyone sings in english, i would like it if they sang in their native language.

Well, I actually like it more like this, more people actually understand the songs in English. Still, often the songs in other native languages can be better as well. Some have even won.

It is nice be able to understand the song, but one the nicer thing the BBC have done is provide subtitle for the songs in english. Am sure it can't be that hard for the other broadcasters to do the same.
Plus it doesn't really bother me if i understand the song or not, as i listen to song that are not english and have no clue what they are saying.

As far as I know, there are always translations for all songs in all countries. At least we've always had them as well.
Doesn't really bother me much either. Still, it's something the song authors could be thinking about. And, of course, if a participating artist normally sings in English, having a more international career, it would be good for them to keep doing this in this contest as well.
