They ARE immune to cards that specifically target a monster, but mirror force still destroys them. Good thing about Slifer though is you can just put em in defense mode and let it's second mouth take care of everything. Any monster summoned with less than 2000 DEF is instantly destroyed by it and it doesn't count as an attack, so as long as you have 2-3 cards in your hand you shouldn't have to worry about it being destroyed.

Yeah lol gives you badass field control if you play your cards right, most useful card I've ever seen though is Stardust Dragon, been playing tag force 4 for psp and that thing has saved my ass so many times now.
