you need water, sugar and lemon juice, and a frying pan (a bit small if possible). I can't really give you quantities though, you can find that in google.
So, pour very few water in the pan, it depends on the size of the pan, but no more than 2 or 3 mm. then add sugar, a little fewer than water, it must be boiling. with bubbles and all. When it starts smelling good, being less liquid, put the lemon juice in. again, very little quantities, it's just to prevent it from becoming caramel. And then comes the difficult part. When it has been boiling for 10 minutes or so (keep on mixing meanwhile) and it's beginning to become caramel (it smells a lot), you have to take it off the heating zone. You have to put it on a cold and solid, smooth and clean area (table if it can take very high temperature, or the hm bench (?) ). then you have to take it barehanded, it's hot, you'll be burned, but you have to so that you can knead (?) it, just like pottery you know? and you have to go on until it's starting to stick all over, not too long or else it won't work, but I guess about 10 min is okay. The piece of wax must be of medium size ( if too big or too small it's just waste). and then I guess all you have to do is to get the job done. You put it on, slowly, in the direction your hairs are, pressing firmly, and then woooooooosh! no more :) You can use it as long as you wish, until the wax goes bad, or you can't take it off (happens to me all the time, you just have to wash it with hot water).
