Edit: I loved Disgaea 2 and all the offshoots from it, as well as Prinny:Can I Really Be The Hero?! 1 and 2. I've yet to play 3 yet, but it looks good.
I'm playing 2 actually. Idk about it. I liked 1 and 3 more. It's still good though.

I haven't played 1 or 3 so I guess 2 is the best for me?
I adored the anime based on AoD so I figured I would give 2 a shot first.

disgaea 1 is far more funny, also, easy level up there. you can finish the game in about a month, if you go stopping and get lazy, do nothing... drop, get it again because of some really tricky bosses...
