Pink beer. PINK. FUCKING. BEER. And I bet it's not pink GOOD beer either, but pink CRAP beer, seeing as it is "clear filtered, crisp rose, and zesty lemon" flavored, has extra food coloring, is "low cal and bloat-resistant," and is made by the Coors company (all their beers are absolute shit, except maybe Blue Moon, but I don't like that beer either). Plus I hate "pinkwashing" in general because just slapping pink on a crappy product and hoping women will buy it is lazy marketing.

I know plenty of women who drink good beer, like Rogue, Sierra Nevada, Pyramid, or microbrews from local breweries. Seriously, the reason women don't drink beer is because a) most commercial brands are horrid, fucking awful, disgusting swill and b) the advertising for beer is so sexist that even if we did like the taste, we'd be turned off by the commercials.

Doesn't slapping pink on beer and marketing it for women just bolster sexism? I don't have many other complaints other than that considering I rarely drink. It takes too much and the taste is awful.

Indeed, "pinkwashing" is sexist. Creating a brand targeted toward women isn't necessarily sexist, and I will admit that I find the packaging snazzy. But instead of listening to what women actually want in beer, the company assumes they know better and create an incredibly patronizing product, which like I said, is 99% sure to be utter shit. The women who already drink beer will not like this product, because it's crap, and the women who don't drink beer yet will probably not be fooled by the advertising (plus once they taste it I'm pretty sure they won't like it either). I'll just gleefully wait for the product to fail

As for you guys who don't like beer...it really is an acquired taste, just like wine is. I do happen to like even the bitter, heavy brews, and it really helps to be exposed to good beers and not the commercial swill.
