Oh ya I dont like the whole super skinny model franchise. D: It's stupid they have to get like size 3 and be tall just to get a foot halfway in the business...unnecessary pressure and I'd say a sort of mmm a conceited jurisdiction. Blah I was looking for words that make it look like guys just want to see little sexy woman on tv. >n< Its what I think...Im open to opinions. DONT ATTACK ME. >:C

I was looking at Holland Next Top Model (just the same as the US one) a while ago and if you don't know how it goes: there's a group of girls (sometimes guys) who compete against eachother. One or two people gets a job as a model at a popular agency and they film the whole thing. Sure, it might not all be real, but any TV show suffers from that.

There was this girl, who was thinner than me (and I am a thin person) and the 3 judges outright told her she was 'way too fat for this show'. Her BMI was nearing underweight. I'm not even kidding. These three judges, two guys and one woman were in full agreement that she had to take a diet would she be willing to continue. They didn't tell the details, but it was probably water and noteblock paper. She felt really insulted by them and began crying on the spot, but they just stared at her with a cold look and dragged her away. The other candidates didn't even try to disagree with them.

THAT is what I mean what is wrong with the industry. Some might argue that it's the model's own free will to decide whether she wants to comply with them, but most of them are being anorexic just because these snobs with their sick and twisted minds are all that the fashion industry is made out of. They don't have a choice. They either destroy their own health or are kicked out. It's inhumane and needs to stop.

Well, just my rant. I buy clothes all the time and although I must be 'fat' by their standards with my barely normal weight BMI, I am convinced I look way better than most anorexic abominations that the industry produces. I'm sure you girls think the exact same way. =P

I totally agree with you, that was already one in austrias next topmodel, it´s really so ridicolus. Its like tehy want to display bones or something..

Ahhh!
I don’t wear much make-up maybe a little blush and a bit of lip color but other than that nothing else but I attempted to try to wear mascara the other day, I get many complements on my lashes and I see all the buzz on mascara and what not so I tried to wear some the other day and when I would push up my glasses and I would blink I would hurt my eye or a little smudge of mascara would get on them, I had to wear my glasses on the tip of my nose and I hated it because I already have horrible eyesight and this just made me more irritated. How do you wear eye make-up with glasses?

Lots of liner and bright-colored shadow, but little to no mascara. I know it's hella annoying to have mascara smudges on glasses, so I only put one coat (or none) if I'm wearing glasses. If I wanna go crazy on the lashes, I wear my contacts, but I don't do that often because I feel too weighed down when I wear fake lashes or put a lot of mascara on. Does anyone get that feeling of their eyelids being too heavy to blink with lots of mascara on? Is that just me?

I never tried liner or eye shadow before, I have done blush and lip color when I want to feel cute most days. I think I will go with the one coat of mascara though. I wish I could go crazy with my lashes but I get that feeling of my eyes being heavy when I don’t get enough sleep! o n o

also, when it comes to makeup for me, i just usually use lip gloss or lip balm. =u=;; maybe i should try more sometime.

I don't like lip gloss very much, it tends to be very sticky and when I kiss my dog or grandma it gets all over. > n
