Oh, I thought I already told you? Well, I'm not one to shy from saying it multiple times. I'm from California. Yeah I can sympathize with a boring day. Work's kicking my ass, my family's kind of kicking my ass... a lot of things have been kicking my ass recently...

Oh that sucks, how was the date last night?

Well, I come from a fairly large and wealthy family in the Philippines. Most of the members who moved here to the states are very talented and established a very comfortable living for themselves. In my home country, my family is comprised of great businessmen, lawyers, doctors... Name it and there's someone in the family doing it. As for here in the states, though not as successful, the branches of the family that are here are still upper-middle class. Rarely anyone is a failure in my family and it kills me that I haven't accomplished anything at my age considering how young some were when they gained success.

Eh, it kills me talking about it. I feel inadequate.

On a much brighter note, the date went splendid. She enjoyed it immensely and she helped me edit my story when we got back home. We feel asleep in each other's arms after... some other events...

Ah young love how fascinating.

Young love? Just because I'm young doesn't mean the love is! I might only be in my early twenties, but I've been dating her for six years! Hahaha, I wonder how we've managed to stay so long together? Some crazy shenanigans have happened over the years. We're lucky to have powered through all of them.
