O-O I was going to just shut up and observe, but something's come up that I really need to get out. One of my relatives who just turned 15 said that she likes girls! My whole family is going nuts! They keep asking for my opinion, but I'm afraid to speak!
You've said they're very religious so I doubt 'going nuts' is particularly good...probably not my place to say but if she's come out the closet, she'll need support. Even if you aren't willing to tell your family they should support her you should at least tell her your supporting her and are okay with it.
And you should probably be honest if they keep asking your opinion, that tells me they aren't sure about their own. Worst they can do is disagree with you.
Say you don't care and they shouldn't.
Is she likes girls, then she likes them, there's nothing more that can be said.
And nothing that anyone says will change who she likes.
You can also says its not for them to judge, but for GOD to judge.
They should let her be and if GOD wants to do something then he/she/it can.
Or they can't force someone to be something they are not.

It's good, Taz. If they keep asking for my opinion, I will naturally side with her. I already explained in the comments above that I've chosen the minority side of the family. And you're right. I may not be the most religious Catholic(if at all) but it's not for me to decide. It's for some higher being to decide.
