Well, as a woman who wanted to wait but was semi-forced to do it, I'd say it's better you're in a place where she has that right to tell you to wait...even though I had the same so I guess that says more about the respect and health of the relationship but you get my point.

As much as it disappointed me, I refused to take her unless she said she was ready. Sure I got made fun of by people for waiting three whole years, but I loved her and wasn't willing to destroy my relationship on whether we could have sex now versus later. In the end, when we finally did it, it felt that much more endearing. I do apologize for what happened regarding your situation. No person should treat another person the way they treated you. It was utterly disrespectful.
