By inventory, you must have some hardware I believe like the DVDs that you want to sell.
If you want to set up an office, (not recommended), to facilitate your business, you will have to pay rent. As for VN companies going online, you can make downloadable copies available for a fee.
By conventional business I meant non-online businesses. My relative was attempting to run an optician's shop.

Ah, I see...that's really a bother to do so.
Well I originally thought to run the business inside an office but I might change it by running these in my apartment in case I got quite some spacious one. But I think that kinda beats the purpose of going to Singapore lol
Though I had a really huge doubt whether I would be able to make a living out of these...well there's my strong sense of inferiority complex and such lol

Setting up a business in this island is like setting up a business in Shanghai. It is only the "easiest" place to set up a business if you are talking about registering your company. But running one is something a bit more challenging.
If any businessman wants to set up say, a consultation firm or a food and beverage company, I think he would try the inland provinces or an Indonesian provincial capital.
ED: It is best to run a business from your own backyard. No transport, no rent!

Basically my key of success was solely determined on how I could convince these elite workers to join me, I basically had zero confidence on my own abilities which keeps failing me up until now and I could safely say that I'm a fukken idiot for all the complex things~
It's not easy on being a crazy simpleton with so little time and closed opportunities lol~
I'm thinking of going back to my parents with tons of humiliation and shame if everything else fails, that might be a great idea if it's going to be one man company~
I actually had tons of alternatives to consider and it makes me felt a bit more secure while thinking about that

^ I have mixed around with people dabbling in business. And I think with regards to employees they will say:
Why hire employees? Don't hire employees unless you have to. If I can run the business by myself, and at the same time get mentorship and advice, I don't think I need employees. They are not concerned about the company, all they want is pay and if you fail to pay them, they will kick a huge fuss.
If I want to find partners, I better know them well. A friend of mine recounted how his father set up a business with a partner only to find out that the partner is less than trustworthy.

it's mostly because there's only so much I can do by myself I'm considering to partner up with some insane no-life genius to see if they could somehow work some magic for me while I could freely laze around my future apartment and only do things I truly like doing~
This is definitely the biggest problem I encountered so far lol, so far I had no friends close to mine in real life as I'm mostly just some fucking outcast bastard
oh well I'm pretty much doomed, no?

Yeah right, like trying to mock the rules is anything to apologize for. Because I know *that* awesome no matter the amount of mocking.

No no. What I am mocking is the concept of romance, not really the rules. If I can come up with something comical, whilst abiding with the rules, I would say that I have succeeded.
And I reminded of what could be the three greatest mysteries of biology. How did consciousness evolve? How did the self replicating molecule first occur? And why is there sex?!
Why should I have to go through the trouble of getting romantically involved with a person of the opposite sex in order to spread my genes? And I find comedy in that.
ED: High, if you can't find a partner, and can run the company by yourself, and somehow get help from people (who aren't partners), I think you are all set.

For a people like me who had troubles associating with most people, I might pick the option you described lol~
Well it's basically not about being successful in the establishment lol, I'm just curious about how far I can go on my own even if I failed in the end I can somehow prove to my parents that I can do crazy breakthroughs without their help if I truly want to =D

That said, getting along with people is unavoidable. For one thing, in order to run any business, according to some people I know who do run businesses, you need to communicate and pander to your clients.

Hmmm...yeah, I guess I could somehow work things out even if it's impossible for me to truly become a people person~

Alright, I spoke to Xenon, I think he'll host it. Not sure though. He wants me to take a rest on judging and be a participant, I think.
0
Ah Xenon, I'm expecting some good things from him~
Anyway you really should take a rest just like he said, you've done a great job so far =D

I see. You are referring to yourself, High? I recall that what I did for the previous contest, as with all of the contents in the Cesspit, was to write down everything that came to my mind, which took me an hour or two, then submit it as a contest entry.
If I needed to edit or put in more structure into my entry, I can always edit it till the contest is over.
