I am still having my internship. It is probably the most important part of my time in school before I graduate next year. I have come across a thread that you may have noticed. I really recommend it and hope that you can come up with a response or another 'prompt' for us to respond to.

Now we are quite familiar with how auspicious cats are with their black coats and their association with witchcraft. So you can expect to be completely buggered when seven flea-carrying cats come to your door to do their business.

Good to hear things are going steadily, then. I did notice the prompt thread, but I didn't have very many ideas for it. I think I will post something in it eventually, however.

If you want to bring the Boring Boy back, you are more than welcome to, but I think we should just create a new story, in all honesty.

Pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and (today) adverbs are up in Parts of Speech. All that's left is prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.

Thank you for your hard work in writing down everything. I doubt this is something many people are thinking about while writing. It's something we likely commit to instinct because of the way the sentence "feels" and rarely piece together our sentences so mathematically, but these things have rules and it's good that you're attempting to break down the explanations for us.

Yeah, you're welcome and thanks for the thanks. I was having a really hard time with stative verbs though. I obsessed over whether I presented stative verbs (in relation to linking verbs) correctly and accurately. This was mainly due to my original belief that linking verb=stative verb, which was not the case, but I'm glad and detest that I hammer away at a question or uncertainty in my brain. Additionally, I'm also glad that I always ask myself whether I'm sure about something. Ever since I started grammar and asking about rather unorthodox cases, I've really come to hold this quote of Einstein:

"I am not more gifted than the average human being. If you know anything about history, you would know that is so--what hard times I had in studying and the fact that I do not have a memory like some other people do… I am just more curious than the average person and I will not give up on a problem until I have found the proper solution. This is one of my greatest satisfactions in life--solving problems--and the harder they are, the more satisfaction do I get out of them. Maybe you could consider me a bit more patient in continuing with my problem than is the average human being. Now, if you understand what I have just told you, you see that it is not a matter of being more gifted but a matter of being more curious and maybe more patient until you solve a problem."

Language is unfortunately not as simply as mathematics. Take for example, "good" and "well" in "I am good/well". Both are adjectives; one can be an adverb ("well"), but for some odd/bizarre reason, it's "I am well" in a formally correct style. I also haven't gotten to the rest of what I call the building blocks of sentences, i.e., "Phrases" and "Clauses".

Probably 90% of the grammar errors I see come from people not properly connecting phrases.

Oh I have tried to write a fun story about... well some sort of martial arts story. I donno, I had thought of making it non magic powers but that's boring.
Been thinking of some alternate stories for some of my BJD characters.

I meant in general. I haven't read those captions yet.

I messed up my wrist, and I haven't been able to put much weight on it this past week. Even typing, last time I tried getting some writing done, I could only get about 400 words before it started acting up. Doing fine other than that. How about you?

I am trying to come up with a response to the "Give Me a Prompt" thread. Shikinokami somehow came upon the Boring Boy thread and is keen to participate in it. I am willing to do so as well. I think I would have something to do in the forums come this weekend.

You talking about High's prompt? I wrote a response for it a couple days ago, but I never posted it. I know that thread is just for fun, but there's something about my response that I don't like.
