Favorite Things

Only part I was indecisive part for me was Porn. I had so many I could have chosen but I couldn't decide.

I want to choose between the following choices:

Better in terms of what? Let's players? Gaming in General? Youtube entertainment? Entertainment in general?

Although I'd rather not deal in absolutes, unless the commentary over the gameplay belongs to the developers of the game or a well spoken analyst, it's usually neither insightful or entertaining.

I'm really not bothered by people liking them. I'm sure they're grateful for all their fans, and are not gigantic pricks (they do charity stuff, so kudos to them I guess). I personally just hear loud yelling and forced humor, and can't bring myself to watch an entire video.
I can only see 3 reasons for liking GG or other Let's Players like them.(Pewdiepie, Tobuscus, DSP, etc.)
1. You have a crush on one of them.
2. You are lonely and somewhat enjoy video games(not enough to just play them yourself) so you listen to commentary of strangers playing games while being "funny".
3. You are also trying to start your gaming channel and want to make plenty of dosh just like them.(usually teen or irresponsible and immature adults)

You can't make such heavy inferences of psychological character or lifestyle based on a single reference of interest. Simply put, it's a dumb move, and makes you seem both conceited and unintelligent.

I'm not lonely or homosexual and I'm definitely not aiming to start my own gaming channel anytime soon. There are a lot of games out there and I will simply never have enough time and money to play all of them. In that respect, it's nice to sit down and watch entertainers play these video games so I can experience the story and see the game-play without having to fork over the cash to do so.

So you see, trying to fit every viewer into those three generic reasons and make inferences based on that interest alone doesn't really work. It's a fairly easy logical conclusion to come to from my point view, so for one that tries to promote an air of intelligence about himself I can't understand why you couldn't come to it.

I have an active social life and good friends, I'm not lonely by any means. I clearly enjoy video games immensely, enough to cast aside graphical foundation and appreciate highly complex mechanics like those in Dwarf Fortress or spend tens of thousands of hours throughout my life playing a few different games at competitive levels.

I do find them funny, but I fail to see how that means I completely fit into this category. Your words, not mine.
